Not a party hostel, but a hostel with an adjunct party area. The parties are super nice, very intense, with good music. The hostel not so much. Most party hostels will try to integrate guests and make it easier for people to meet. That's why we usually go to those hostels, especially solo travelers. This hostel lacked such activities, guests-only areas, and even a reception area where one could ask for events, activities, and such. There was minimal introduction once we arrived. We were not received with activity suggestions, nor was there anything organized by the hostel at all. Had I not met a nice guest inside of my room, I would have not met anyone at all. Due to the restaurant that works all the time, it's also hard to know who is a guest and who isn't, making things even harder to meet. My room as small for three bunk beds. We were lucky the other guests didn't appear, because if the room was full they wouldn't have space for their luggage. There was a single bathroom for everyone in the room (six people), and there was a room for 8 people who would probably also use that bathroom. The worst part for me was the fact there was NO separation between the party and the hostel. Anyone could climb up the stairs, and they did to use the single bathroom, turning it into a dirty mess that was frankly disgusting to use. The female dorm room was also lockless, anyone could enter, and the staff just acted as if that was unimportant. I did not feel unsafe, but I did feel like we were not the priority of the staff. The food was awesome though, and the staff was kind! Location is also great!
