Hotels near Nanluogu Xiang, Beijing

Hospitality at the hotel was fantastic, with staff go beyond our expections. We booked one bedroom for 2 kids & 2 adults and was upgraded to two queen size beds. We was given piping hot soup, sandwiches, fruits & beverages upon reaching as the weather was very cold. They also ensured that our kids are feeling warm & cosy as well. Each time when we came back from our day out, they offered to make us hot dumpling soup! That was very nice of them. On our last night with Le Zai, they even helped us arranged a car for pick up just right outside their accommodation (their alley is very small by the way). As we have a train to catch early in the morning (before breakfast was even open), the staff packed breakfast (bread, milk & fruits) for us so we can have it on our way to our next destination. I will never hesitate to recommend my friends to book Le Zai when in Hutong. One of the best and left us a great experiences. Thank you staffs of Le Zai!

The hotel building overall is fine, good for the price we paid. Room is reasonably sized and clean. What really stood out was the service and the conveniences. The staff did everything to make our stay comfortable. They ensured that we found the hotel, gave us a welcome tea, and helped carry our luggage up the stairs / lift. Throughout the stay they provided laundry service, warm bottled water for the Beijing winter, always ready to help with our questions. Service was absolutely excellent. Location is good, at the north end of Nanluoguxiang. Plenty of food places, souvenir shops. Quite touristy but handy, There was a great local all-day Beijing diner just north of the hotel at the intersection. Amazing mini pork buns. Would stay again here if we return to Beijing.

Location is good and bad. Good that it is right by nanluo guxiang but is it extremely touristy and overpriced street. Lv da gun is about 2x the average price. Car is unable to enter so you have to carry your luggage about 5mins walk, either going through the tourist street or the back alley of hutongs to a side road. Neither was good choice for us as we have big and heavy luggages. Better off staying away from tourist areas but near to metro access. Beijing traffic is bad and slow. Room area is also small, barely any space to open up luggage on the floor. No bidet in toilet too

Initially I was rather not please but the slow check in process, however the hotel soon won me over. This is a rather tiny hotel but it's only 150m from the mrt station. You can walk to houhai and gulou with ease. The hotel has some interesting area like a reading room and it provided free chicken dumplings as supper on both nights. I need to commend on the young male service staff who helped me look high and low for my parcel that was missing. Apparently the seller did not capture my reference and if not for the young man I would not have been able to find my parcel

The location of the hotel is very good, very close to Shichahai and Drum Tower. You can also go to Shichahai Bar Street to have a drink and watch the night view at night. There are also many places to eat around, and there are many Beijing specialties, such as Yaoji Fried Liver and Jubaoyuan Shabu-shabu, which are all worth trying.

The room smelled like male perfume and I could not get the smell out because the window was so small. Also, I was feeling cold at night because there was no heating at all. But apart from that, all other things were fine

The location was great and the people were fine if a little inattentive. The bed and the pillow were hard, they rationed us toilet paper to about five sheets a day and the air in the hotel was bone dry. We tried to use Aircon as little as possible (we used it once during our stay) but the air was still dry enough to chap our lips and cause us throat and nose problems throughout our stay. We would leave in the morning totally congested, get a little better throughout the day only to get congested again in the night. The hotel was fine but I would encourage anyone to think twice about staying here unless they fix their ventilation problems.

The location is at the northeast corner of Nanluoguxiang. They were very friendly and upgraded me and my family to a quadruple room because they were worried that we wouldn't get enough rest. The staff was very welcoming. There was a coffee machine, microwave, and laundry room. It was quite clean. There were many breakfast shops around, so it was very convenient. Recommended~

Great location when you first time visit in Beijing. Subway and public transport just a few minutes away from the hotel. They are going to the most of famous tourist place. You only need to get a Beijing Pass, it is so easy to tap on and tap off. And when you get off the metro at Nanluo Guxiang the famous food street is just next to the metro exit. A plenty of restaurants are near by with a good price. We explored some local fruit shops, you can find some interesting food as well. The family room is big, nice and clean. The only thing is the shower and toilet has a door , but they do not have the door for the lavatory, but it was not an issue for us. The staffs always make you feel satisfied. We had a upgrade room during we stay. Everything is handy and it is a great value. We are so happy to find a such good place to stay there for 9 nights Beijing travel .
