Jingshan Garden Hotel

It’s a nice little place (can do with some more upkeep and general cheerfulness) and the general location is quite convenient for Jingshan Park, Forbidden City and others but it is a little inconvenient for getting to the subway. Taxis cannot drop you till the doorstep and while that is fine - currently the road leading to the hotel itself is strewn with building materials and muddy puddles. To be honest it should settle down in some months. From my quick look around - there are better Hutong than this as well (better markets etc.) but this one is great for general location and quietness. Considering all the above - I think it can be more appropriately priced. Otherwise, the staff were excellent with all help like booking tickets, directions etc. Language was not a problem at all. Breakfast was good but not value for money. The courtyard looks great at night but shows its age in the daytime.

Superb superb superb location. Walking distance to Jingshan Park-- only several minutes; ans very close to Beihai park, as well as walking distance to forbidden city. Great services. There's construction at the front door of hotel, but it should be finished in several weeks, it should look great after that.

In view of the service it was good , staff were helpful n nice, however the road to the main entrance was doing road work n very very hard for us to carry our suitcase to walk in n out! However when v r leaving staff was very nice n helped us to carry our suitcase to the main road! Did not expect around the Jingshan garden is traffic restricted n hardly get a taxi! View is nice but Nothing to eat around the hotel!

I loved staying at this hotel, it has a beautiful courtyard and traditional vibe that makes you feel connected with the history of Beijing. The reception staff are very friendly and can speak English which is handy. There’s a cute restaurant that’s open to the public and the food was delicious, there’s not many restaurants or food places nearby so I found having some food in the morning before heading out avoided the need to try and search for food on an empty stomach.

Such a beautiful place! The staff were so kind and helpful. The breakfast was good as well. The room was amazing and the location is really good!
