Ulasan Youyou Light Luxury Hotel (Yonghe Palace Nanluoguxiang Branch)

Awesome service available at all hours of the day. Pretty little views and not the farthest from the train station or the bus stations.

This is a wonderfully quirky gem of a hotel in the middle of the Hutongs. It was convenient to everything we were interested in, and a 7-11 next door ensured we could get anything we might need. The entrance and courtyard areas felt welcoming and unique. The large open rooftop is a real highlight — with gardens, trees, seating, and city views. If you're lucky, a sweet cat will grace you with her presence while you're having breakfast in the shade. The rooms we had were small but cozy and clean, exactly what we were looking for. The area was surprisingly quiet at night.

It's a fantastic place to socialize with guests and visitors as there are lots of open places to relax. Fantastic service with really good beers (I highly recommend the IPA, when you get 2 there is a discount). Not to forget, a beautiful ambience, finished of with a roof terrace, lots of cats around and very friendly personnel. We did a booking right after this because we felt so at home with the lovely people in a fantastic neighboorheid in Beijing. Would recommend if you're looking to chill out and have all the necessities you'd need at the hotel or just around the corner.

Overall good experience. We visited in April so it was during the off-peak season. Because it was a quieter time of year, the hotel was doing some renovations - hopefully this means in summer 2025 the hotel should feel very new! Unfortunately, this meant the first room we were allocated was slightly old and had a view of the renovations on the rooftop (I’ve included two photos at the end), but after asking the receptionists if there was any way we could swap rooms, they were super kind, understanding, and apologetic and happily moved us into a new room which felt more modern and clean! The hotel itself is really close to the old part of the city which has a gorgeous food market as well as a fun night market. There are lots of local food stalls around the area. We rented the ‘Hello! Bikes’ to get around most places and it was super easy! I will say if you don’t speak Mandarin then come prepared with some sort of translation app!

This place doesn’t look like the photos! If the photos were more accurate it would receive 5/5 review from me as the staff were great, location was AMAZING and everything was clean. I was just a bit disappointed when walking into the room as the rooms are very small (whereas in the photos they look big, bright and airy). Just not what I was expecting when I booked the place. That being said, we extended our stay at this hotel because the location was perfect and the beds are EXTREMELY COMFY. It’s surrounded by amazing cafes, bars and restaurants. So, in summary, I would recommend but it’s not the most beautiful place I’ve stayed!

Noisy if your room looks at the yard. Small room but clean and modern. Really good beds. Nice staff!

We stayed a second time during our China trip and the staff had remembered us and was being really cute. They even offered to upgrade us into the same room as before. The beds are super comfortable, the hotel is quiet and has a fantastic roof terrace to chill. The location is just fantastic, we loved the lively and relaxed neighborhood!

The hotel is clean and very pretty. Everybody was very gentle and helpful. The receptionists also helped my find some restaurants that serves topical dishes. You can leave the luggage there and they will hold it for you. The location is fine there is andimen metro station at 10 minutes walk and also bexiqiao metro station at 18 minutes walk.

The room was perfect and it has a great location, close to a lot of good restaurants and Hutong. It can be slightly noisy at night because there is an inner court but the mood is great.

Nice and cosy guesthouse close to Andingmen subway station. Cool area with a sweet guesthouse team.

The position is perfect, in middle of hutongs. The room is small, but the bathroom is large and comfortable.

We are happy to find this hotel who offers a family room for 4 person! Great location and friendly staff!
