Ulasan Grand Hotel Yuanshan

Stay 3 nights at the hotel , the pillows are too soft and the toilet has some funny smell if you off the ventilator.

Location: 8/10 Cleanliness: 4/10 The hotel is near the Olympic Stadium and a few other Beijing tourist attractions. That’s the positive. The negative: it’s not that clean. It has a bit of a smell. For what you’re paying I would expect a better quality of hotel. I hope the management make some changes and update the hotel. Also the bed is not that soft.

The hotel is in a convenient location, especially for trips to the great wall. However the staff die not sowas english and it's also not really helpful. The hotel is quite dirty and had definitely seen better days. We had to change the room due to dirty carpets and previous smoke in the room. Instead of showing an act gratitude for our inconvenience, we got an even smaller room as replacement. That's not what I would call service attitude.

The hotel kindly gave us an upgrade to a room with a living space, which made our stay very comfortable. We highly appreciate the arrangement.

Firstly, the cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. The floors appeared to have not been properly cleaned, with visible dirt and debris that made it feel uninviting. Additionally, the sheets were so itchy that it interfered with my sleep, making for a rather uncomfortable night. It’s surprising that such a fundamental aspect of hospitality is overlooked. The bathroom experience was also lacking. The shower took an excessive amount of time to warm up, which is frustrating when all you want after a long day is a refreshing wash. Waiting for the water to reach a comfortable temperature felt like an unnecessary inconvenience.

Big Hotel, rooms are clean. Even though none of the staff could speak English, communication was easy with some help of translation apps.

The hotel is conveniently located. Lines 10 and 8 are around 10 minutes away on foot. There's a small supermarket with fruit and vegetables, apart from regular stuff, nearby. The room is nice ans clean. They provide toothbrushes ans toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and body wash (that's not too common fpr Beijing). There's a fridge, a tea set, ans a kettle. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only disadvantage is the sound isolation, as i could hear the lift and pretty much all the people walking and talking in the hall. It was okay for the rooms next to me, though.

The location is good as well as the price and their services. There are some things that needs to be fixed: the air conditioning especially and the carpet needs changing too. I would still recommend this hotel to my friends.

Really good hotel

The service was ok, i can only speak english also all the staffs at hotel can only speak chinese so it was a bit difficult for hotel staffs & me. So i left before my time, even at dinner time it was a struggle to order not even the kitch staffs could have help me after that night i had to buy from the little food shop on Yumin Rd.. my suggestion they should have atlease 1 english speaking staff on each shift because you never know when some one like me will be passing through again.

Beautiful hotel. Everything is clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. I will certainly stay there again.

I chose this hotel because of another review that said “classy and great value for money.” I would agree with those things! The entire upstairs is carpeted. The room had a soft bed and a very large TV. I had a wheelchair accessible room, so the shower was very large as well, could easily fit 3-4 people, but no bathtub. They also had no issue checking in foreigners. There was a clipboard with my info on it behind the desk, as they were expecting me. Only downside, none of the staff really spoke English, so if you can’t speak some basic Chinese, get your translator app ready.

Fine location and service, it was clean and adequately equipped.

Quite old facilities but very good location. Drainage system was very smelly and could see couple of flies coming from them. The staff was trying to help cover them by using water bags but the issue should be addressed ASAP through appropriate procedure.
