We had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. We spent exactly 10 seconds in the first room they gave us, as it smelled of wet dog and urine. Apparently the hotel is "pet-friendly," The second room smelled better, but it was also not clean, and the furnishings & linens were very old and tired. The desk/bureau combo looked like it was from the 60's and was wobbly. I can live with outdated, but NOT unclean! The carpet and floors were so dirty, neither my husband nor I would put our bare feet on the floors (which can be tricky, when getting out of the shower). Speaking of the shower, there were hairs (from someone else) stuck to the shower wall. YUCK! The ice machine was broken and the "breakfast" offered was an unhealthy and sub-standard grab & go type, which they are still blaming on the pandemic, when most properties have gone back to a standard breakfast a while ago. Humorously, there is a huge marquee in front, touting the fact that the hotel won Super 8's "Best of the Best" award. YIKES! If that's the case, it is likely the last Super 8 for me.
