Ha sido una de las experiencias más horribles q hemos vivido!! La primera noche nos asignaron una habitación con la cocina q se caía a trozos, el baño parecía de hospital, hasta con bastoncillos por el suelo y lo peor de todo la temperatura q hacía, al ser una 6 planta se estaba a unos 45 grados, era asfixiante y sin aire acondicionado, suerte y teníamos dos ventiladores. Solicitamos cambio de habitación, xq era horrible estar ahí, con la suerte de q nos cambiaron a otra de la sexta planta también con dos ventanas en la q se notaba algo de viento, pero con las paredes desconchadas, las patas de la cama torcidas y con una temperatura igual a la anterior, imposible conciliar el sueño xq apenas se podía respirar. Desde mi opinión son unos ladrones, a 100 euros la noche, con unas condiciones pésimas. Lo único bueno, la ubicación y la atención del personal de recepción. No lo recomiendo en absoluto.

Unfortunately my cousin and I did not have the best experience at the Residencia. Starting off with the room which was super expensive as we paid around 670€ for only 4 nights, and it being a Hostell is unexplainable why it is so expensive. For breakfast there was an option between a croissant, pan au chocolat or bread with ham and cheese which were not really tasty and you could only get one peace of them. The location was although really nice. The rooms were also really small and super hot die to the A/C not being there and there was no hot water in the shower. The staff was really nice though and helpful.

The room was extremely hot, the small fan provided was inadequate. The bathroom smelt moldy and the shower curtain wasn't clean. The staff was very nice and helpful, front desk as well as cleaning staff. In addition it was nice having a kitchenette.

SCHRECKLICH!!!! AUf gar keinen Fall im Sommer buchen. Ich hatte konstante 36 Grad im Zimmer... einfach nur grauenvoll. Hat mir meinen gesamten Urlaub vermiest!

Wonderful stay. Great studio like room with fridge and stove and private bathroom. Good value for all it offers. Includes gym for a good workout. Fast WiFi connection. Very clean rooms Huge park accross the street walking distance to restaurants, shopping and train. Staff could not be nicer and very accomodating. I highly recommend and enjoyed my stay

I booked Residencia Universitaria La Ciutadella for 8-11 July 2020 but due to the pandemic global travel restrictions, until today, I am not able to travel to Barcelona for leisure. Residencia Universitaria La Ciutadella has advised me they can only extend the credit until 31 December 2021 and no further. Looking at the situation now, I think there is no way I can travel to Barcelona still and I am asking if Residencia Universitaria La Ciutadella can refund the non refundable rates as an exception due the global situation, I lost my job, my dad is ill (I showed proved) and I need some money back to tie through the tough times. Residencia Universitaria La Ciutadella just refuse to. :(
