tourist trap.dont book here.they scam you after reservation online then canceling you last minute.i even called internationally to talk to a person to hold reservation and ended up with a canceled room when checking in.so we were left without a choice but to bite the bullet and check in with additional $$$ charges.hostess was not trustworthy.reofferred the same room after she said she canceled it.at first it was not available, then she reordered it after I made the payment.what a group of scammers! it was nice location though.it was clean and close to boqueria and metro.

It was a big plus that this hotel room was on the ramblas and very close to the subway. Plenty of places to eat.

Hotel staff are friendly! Clean room/linens. This is neither bad or good, just noting that the bed is firm if that suits you. Its a no frill room. No kettle, fridge..etc. Just two water glasses. Nice location. Though La Rambla is quite busy, the evenings and early morning are quiet. Few minutes walk to airport bus which is great.

Overall not bad at all when i checked in i was charged a 15 € city tax? Im not sure what that was because i swear when i paid in full online it was all included. The location was overall amazing its right on that main street near the city center. The beds where very uncomfortable though, but i realize you you pay most for the location and not for the beds. It was pretty clean and the workers were generally friendly. I would stay here again. PS i would bring a blanket becuase they only give you a sheet and it does get a little cold at night. At least when we visited it was.

I booked via ********** and after a few hours got an email that my reservation was cancelled due to a credit card error. That seemed weird because the card cleared with ********** and also the hotel was not supposed to try and bill as it was a "pay at hotel" reservation. I called them and at first they said it's a credit card issue - when I explained to them that it can't be, they changed their version and said that the hotel was not accepting reservations for the month I asked for. When I confronted them that it is open in all the booking sites, they said that there was a "price error", when I asked what does that mean, they said that there's a congress in town (MWC) and the price I booked did not match... (meaning they just wanted to get more for the room!) And indeed the room was now listed for double the price.. after talking to ********** - they spoke with the hotel, and the hotel took down th availability (probably to support their claim that it was not taking bookings for that month)! While I understand that prices can fluctuate - once a booking has been confirmed, to cancel it is a breach of trust - and I thought that ********** should do something - but to my surprise they did not provide any real help. So, if you don't want your reservation to suddenly get cancelled for no reason, don't book this hotel.

Perfect location and staff are extremely helpful, and they do thorough daily cleaning.
