Beautiful hotel with a unique decoration but limited amenities. Our suite was basically two connected rooms with a bed in each and two bathrooms plus two small showers. Bed was very comfortable but room had no soundproofing so it’s ideal for light sleepers . Service was top notch and staff went above and beyond for us.

L’hotel si trova in una zona abbastanza comoda per esplorare la città, nonostante sia posizionato in una via piuttosto isolata e non troppo vicina a negozi o ristoranti. La camera è piacevole, anche se piuttosto buia (l’unica finestra presente si affaccia direttamente sulla corte interna, quindi in una zona di passaggio e con un forte odore di cucina). Sicuramente piacevole e ben arredata, nonostante questo né la stanza né il bagno rispecchiano lo standard di un 5 stelle. Il personale è molto disponibile e accogliente. Ottima anche la colazione, da scegliere il giorno prima comunicando anche l’orario desiderato.

Замечательный бутик-отель! Очень вежливое обслуживание. Чисто. Красивый интерьер. Как в мини-музее. Персонал просто супер! Во всем готовы помогать 👍 завтрак на выбор (тайский, китайский, английский, мексиканский). Все вкусно 👍

一家新開的小而美的酒店。軟裝和氛圍佈置到位。 早餐是在checkin的時候就讓你選好喜歡的套餐和大概的用餐時間，廚房會提早準備。 按金收取現金或者護照。 總體來説，體驗很好，有別於度假酒店或者傳統集團酒店那種擁擠的感覺。 這次沒有帶孩子，如果帶孩子應該不適合了。

我在曼谷住的酒店不多，這家酒店不是什麼星級大酒店，但入住體驗最佳，140年的老房子改造，很有故事感，房主精心設計佈置，宛若在中古的童話世界裏，食物也是精緻美味，超愛了

We spent 4 nights here at the end of our Thai holiday. Very comfortable and the breakfasts were great - we felt very well looked after by the super friendly management. We had laundry when we arrived that they had back to us really quickly. The family suite was perfect - a very comfortable double bunk bed, 2 toilets and 2 hot showers AND a sitting room for the grown ups when the children were asleep 😊 Really well located in a quiet alley within a vibrant area, great restaurants and bars just around the corner. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel goes above and beyond what you would expect of a place this size. The 2 bedroom suite we stayed in was exquisite. The service was amazing and the breakfast outstanding. The location is central but quiet. Thank you for giving us this 5 star experience.

We returned to this hotel after a lovely experience a year ago. We like the quirky style, based on an old department store in the Samsen St area. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The vibe makes you feel like you’re in old Siam. The breakfast feels like an experience in itself. So beautifully presented and delicious. I agree that the rooms aren’t the most practical. If it’s practicality that you require it might be best to go to an anonymous tower block run by a corporate hotel chain. If, however, you like a charming hotel in a great area for walkable restaurants, markets and bars, good proximity to tourist spots and ferry access then I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. You really do feel you’re in Bangkok.

We booked this hotel after reading all the amazing reviews it had. We were not disappointed at all. The rooms are all themed & beautifully decorated. The breakfast is plentiful, with lots of choice on offer, leaving you very full. We hope to stay again should we come back to Bangkok. It is located down not too far from lots of cafes, & bars, with lots of different t food styles to choose from. We walked to the Grand Palace only about a 30 min walk away.

We loved our 5 night stay at De Phanakron! The interior is lovely and an experience in itself. Service is great and breakfast is huge and lots to choose from. De Phanakron is a short walk from the river, and we used river boats a lot - as well as canal boat. Fantastic way to get around to the most important sightseeing spots and to to cool down.

A marvellous hotel in the old town of Bangkok. Very small boutique hotel. We are a family of 5 (3 teenagers) and stayed in their family suite. Worked perfectly for us. The breakfast is also amazing, they organised everything including pickup and drop off to airport. The staff were so nice and accommodating- the level of service is amazing! Highly recommended. Also lovely restaurants nearby (one we visited 3 times) and walking distance to a number of attractions. Highly recommended!

De Phanakron is a very nicely tucked away hotel located in a very old historical neighbourhood of Bangkok. The interior designs dates back to several timelines in Thailand's history. Each rooms offers a glimpse into the different eras of Thailand. The owner and the staff members of the hotel are also very kind and friendly. They will also be more than happy to provide you with information about neighbourhood, the room designs, the different eras in Thailand all the way to the inspiration of certain design choices of the hotel. Furthermore, the hotel also offers a very comfortable stay with very fresh and delicious cuisines. I therefore highly recommend this hotel if you're ever in Bangkok and looking for a comfortable stay with both historical and cultural background. :-) I will certainly be coming back to try out different rooms in the future! :-)
