Mixed review regarding this hotel. Location: In the centre of China Town and right above a 7/11. Positives - Good location to the metro, about a 2 minute walk and then one tube to most destinations. Good places to eat around and good atmosphere from China Town although it can be very busy. Negatives - Above a 7/11 and so from our room you could hear the sound it makes every time somebody walks in.. it is 24h so this got a bit frustrating Hotel: Very good price. Just needed for 1 night while we waited for our flight home. Positives - Modern looking. Not 100% like the photos on the website but I don’t think hotel rooms ever are due to editing etc. Spacious rooms with a comfy bed. Microwave and fridge. Air con. Nice bathroom. Friendly staff. Negatives - Very noisey air con in our room. Was making a horrible cracking noise so in the end I turned it off then woke up VERY hot due to it being 35 degrees outside. Was absolutely eaten alive by mosquitos despite not having the window open. Very thin walls/doors. Could hear people in the hallway and noise from other rooms. Kept me awake a lot. Family’s in the morning talking in the hallway was really annoying. Not really the hotels fault for other inconsiderate guests but just be aware you will be kept up if you encounter them! Was good for the money paid and in a good location. Don’t think I could have stayed for more than 1 night though.

The cons are that it will be difficult to locate the place at night at once. I arrived past 11pm and the streets and building were dark. Please look out for the 7 eleven, there's a glass door between the 7-11 & starbucks as the grab driver may not stop you at the exact spot since the hotel sign is pretty small. You will also need to pry open the automated glass door late at night and push to close manually. The room door is also to be opened with key and not card. Otherwise, the location is great. Staff is friendly. Aircon is very cold. Smart TV. Room is huge with sink and relatively big fridge. However, toilet sink tap is designed wierdly. You cannot really collect water easily for washing up. I brushed my teeth at the "kitchen" sink. You will also need some time to figure how to operate the bath mixer/tap. Water pressure is not great but manageable. The water heater was spoilt though I could not adjust the temperature. Water was warm but not warm enough for a comfortable bath. Bed to me was relatively hard but I eventually got used to it. There are only 2 pillows. I did not try asking for more pillows. For the price and aircon, I will consider coming back to stay. Location is pretty good in chinatown. There's also an mrt station nearby. In the morning, the streets are busy and cabs are readily available.
