NusaBay Menjangan by WHM

Sebuah resor ramah lingkungan di taman nasional dengan snorkeling terbaik di Bali dengan naik perahu singkat! Catatan: a) akses perahu hanya dengan perahu berangkat sekitar empat kali sehari. Ada Jalak putih Bali (sangat terancam punah) di pepohonan di sekitar pelabuhan kapal daratan. b) pantai memiliki banyak karang sehingga tidak bagus untuk anak kecil bermain di air dangkal, tapi ada kolam yang bagus!

Pengalaman baru menginap di NusaBay Menjangan, ini satu-satunya hotel yang terletak di Taman Nasional Bali Barat. Hanya 1 akses untuk mencapai hotel, saya memarkir mobil saya di Labuan lalang dan naik perahu yang disediakan oleh hotel sekitar 20 menit. Terasa seperti menginap di pulau pribadi, semua kamar adalah bungalow dengan pemandangan hutan atau laut dan berhati-hatilah karena ini terletak di Taman Nasional, jadi saya dapat menemukan rusa “mejangan”, monyet abu dan monyet hitam/lutung tetapi semua hewan tidak agresif.. Kamar lumayan bagus tapi AC agak panas.. mungkin karena areanya panas.. tapi jangan khawatir semua gorden padam.. jadi sinar matahari tidak bisa masuk ke dalam kamar. Rumah tangga juga melakukan layanan merapikan tempat tidur. Hari berikutnya saya melakukan pelacakan hutan 3 jam dengan membayar biaya tambahan di hotel. Mereka juga memiliki tarif paket termasuk makan siang. Setelah tracking, saya hanya menikmati pantai.. dan snorkeling, mengumpulkan kerang dan melihat bulan purnama. Semua layanan dan staf sangat baik! ! Layak untuk dicoba jika Anda ingin menginap di level lain.. tapi saya sarankan untuk menginap minimal 2 malam, karena jika Anda dari bali selatan atau bandara akan memakan waktu sekitar 5 jam perjalanan dan 20 menit perahu untuk mencapai hotel. Merekomendasikan untuk perjalanan pasangan atau perjalanan tunggal jika Anda membutuhkan waktu saya .. ahhh lupa info semua bungalow tidak ada TV.

Hôtel paradisiaque, le cadre est magnifique au milieu des animaux. Le personnel est serviable et professionnel, le restaurant est très bon et nous remercions Suny pour sa gentillesse et la surprise pour l’anniversaire de mon mari. Merci aux 2 Poutou pour le très beau snorkeling à Menjagan ….

It felt like a very unique experience and a privilege to spend 2 days at this resort. Snorkeling right in front, I found a family of clown fish, a reef shark, a barracuda and many colorful fish and coral that were in decent condition. Not as amazing as we saw on adjacent Menjangan Island but, very impressive still. While having lunch, a deer wandered past my table, probably 4 meters from me, and a pack of black monkeys were peacefully feasting on a tree in front of the restaurant. What a sight! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Almost all of the food I had there was tasty, with the only exception being a grilled sea bass that I should have avoided. It was tough like the sole of a shoe, or an extremely overcooked squid. When I was chewing it desperately, I recalled a German guest's review about the exact same thing. He was right, the fish dishes are best to avoid at this resort. But, my overall experience at this resort was great and I can honestly recommend it to everyone who appreciates nature and a peaceful, relaxing environment. Yes, the trip from the south is rather long: about 4 hours. But, because I drove myself in a rented car, the journey was full of sights and experiences that made the trip to Labuan Lalang (where the resort's boat picked me up) more than worthwhile.

We stayed for 4 nights in a garden bungalow. The hotel arranged transportation from our previous hotel in Munduk to the island, we got here so we could take the boat at 12.15. Our garden cottage was ready when we came. The inside is quite nice but the porch has seen better days, but its still functional. There is a metal box in the room where you can store things that might attract animals. The mosquito net around the bed is quite sturdy so we felt save from any possible intruders during the night. Food selection is limited but in all fairness its a remote location and there isnt many tourists yet. However, all food has been good. Prices a bit higher then expected. A large beer 75', a small coke 30' and nasi goreng 85' (without the additional taxes). We saw lots of animals just in the hotel area. The deers come by daily for water. The grey and black monkey could be seen sometimes. Snakes, bugs, spiders etc the usual suspect in the nature. Not to mention the abundance of butterflies. Most annoying was the amount of small cockroches at the restaurant, they go all over the table, your legs, hair everywhere. Hoping this was just an isolated incident with nature and we were unlucky. Due to its being in a national park you aren't allowed to leave the resort without a guide. And it's quite pricey to get a guide. We took a 2h walk with the guide, it was nice to see more of the island, he can take you to a high point with great views. Best part of this resort is the snorkling, its pretty good just of the pier. However, there isn't much of a beach so if you wanna go for a dip best place is off the pier. There are a few sunbeds on the beach and some at the pool.

I have never taken a trip so far from home. So I was very afraid of it. As I quickly noticed, you don't have to be afraid. All the people of the hotel are friendly at all times and want the best for you. They treat you like you're part of the family. Unfortunately we were only there for a short time. It was beautiful. You can relax and see monkeys or go diving in the sea. There are also small events of the hotel, e.g. Snorkel tour that you have to book separately. If it wasn't so far away and expensive I would love to come back every summer. Because the people are very close to my heart. They even carry the suitcases into the room and try to do everything. I had the best time there and was able to laugh a lot. The trekking tour was very interesting and well maintained by Suparjana. I'm at a loss for words it was so well done. I recommend it to everyone. I'll give you at least 5 ⭐️ preferably more.

Booked this place as our last stop during our 2000km road trip from Jakarta - East Java - Bali. Annoying: - didn't inform us that we'll need to take a boat and leave our car at the port. It's a 15-20 minute boat ride through very clear waters as fishing not allowed in National Park area. Google map suggests that we can drive to the resort, this was not the case. - Monkeys, i hate monkeys they steal everything so never leave anything open/unlocked. - as it's an isolated place, not much food options. Would be great if we can do bbq at our beachfront villa - it's a $35 extra charge if you wanna visit Menjangan island, a small island near the park. You can snorkle or dive there.. You'll get cheaper pricing if you go from Banyuwanyi - also extra charge of $35 if you wanna take the boat after certain hours Awesome: - The resort is part of the national park so you'll often find deers - amazingly clear waters - great price for the view - perfect if you love quiet or romantic I would recommend staying here at least 2 nights but get your food and logistics ready especially if you're on keto like us
