Amori Villas

Our family (2 adults and 2 kids aged 16 and 9) stayed for 3 nights at Amori Villas as part of our summer trip to Bali. We booked one of the Classic Villas (Kingfisher) which sleeps 4 with one king bed and 2 single beds. We really enjoyed our stay - there are only 7 villas so you get a very personal touch from the staff. The Villas themselves are a 10-20 minute (time depending on traffic) drive into the centre of Ubud and there is a free shuttle bus one way provided by the Villa. Getting back from Ubud was very cheap and reasonably easy using the Grab app. The view from the villas definitely has a wow factor with the infinity pool over looking the beautiful greenery. As there are only a few villas there were not many people using the pool so this was like having your own private pool which was great. The breakfast was great with a wide range of options all cooked fresh on demand. We also had a lovely dinner there with a range of western and Indonesian food cooked beautifully. The highlight was the staff who were so friendly and attentive and helped with anything we asked for including local trips, transport to other areas of Bali and all at very reasonable prices. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is down to the room. Although very spacious the classic villas are a little rustic - the air conditioning had a permanent really loud hum and there were parts of the villa which are effectively open to the elements with no sealed windows which was not great for mosquitos. There is also a part of the villa window with no curtain so impossible to have any lie in with light coming in from sunrise. From the look of things the other villas were more modern if you have a smaller group might be best to go for those. In summary though really well recommended as a boutique villa option with excellent service and restaurant and lovely staff - thank you for a very memorable stay.

What a beautiful spot! Everything was just perfect for a few days. It was lovely to hear the story of how Amori Villas came to be what it is today directly from Rick. All staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to assist. Loved the little touches in the rooms. Great menu choice in the restaurant all cooked on demand.

The Amori Villas is an incredible place to stay. Beautiful flowers and plants surround it. It is a tropical paradise that instantly causes you to relax and breathe easier. The staff are not only friendly but cater to your every need. The food is so delicious, you could stay at the villa and never leave. The rooms are spacious and lovely. We can't wait to go back!

My stay at Amori Villas was wonderful. Great staff, super nice accommodation. I felt very comfortable. The view is beautiful and the pool is a dream. The booked massages and the food on site are highly recommended. Marsa the driver was very nice and had valuable recommendations for excursions in the area. Thanks to the team. I was able to relax very well :)

This place is absolutely unique, a piece of paradise so close to the heart of Ubud. Surroundings, comfort, good food (delicious breakfasts!), spa area (I recommend a fantastic massage from Putri) - perfect! But it's the crew that makes this place truly special. they are friendly, open and at the same time professional, attentive and helpful. Thank you Marsa for showing me interesting places in Bali, but also sharing stories about the culture and traditions of this extraordinary island and the opportunity to experience it literally by taking part in ceremonies and family celebrations. Thank you Dayu for our interesting conversations, Thank you Mozie, Denny, Ayu, Komang, Indria and everyone else. Thanks to you, I felt at home in Amori. I will definitely come back here. I recommend it to anyone who wants comfort, relaxation, individual approach and at the same time real contact with the Balinese soul.

I loved my time at Amori Villas, it's a truly magical spot and a hidden gem in Ubud. Tucked away from the town centre, but only around a 10-minute drive, it's the perfect location to explore from. When you enter the restaurant you'll be stuck by the incredible breathtaking views over the valley, the stunning pool and the quietness and charm of the area. The staff are exceptional, really lovely and I felt so safe and at home as I was visiting solo. The food is great and I ordered a lot from the restaurant. I have such wonderful memories of my time at Amori, and I highly recommend staying. I've travelled a lot and stayed in many different hotels etc, and there was something very special about Amori.
