Angkal dalam bahasa Indonesia berarti berpikir. Hotel ini benar-benar tempat yang bagus untuk tetap damai. Menghadap Samudra Pasifik yang luas, selain menikmati pemandangan yang indah, Anda juga akan berpikir tentang alam semesta yang luas dan arti kehidupan yang sebenarnya.

Tempat yang sangat bersih dan indah. Membersihkan setiap hari, Hotel menyediakan sarapan terapung gratis. Saya dan keluarga menikmati berada di sini, berjalan dalam 1 menit ke restoran pantai. Akan berulang di masa depan ❤️

Sempurna untuk turun, telah diperpanjang 2 kali, bos akomodasi banyak membantu kami dalam perjalanan selanjutnya!

Benar-benar menikmati kami menginap di The Angkal. Stafnya ramah dan sangat membantu. Vila ini manis dan nyaman menghadap ke laut yang indah dan kolam renang. Makanannya enak terutama makanan lokal dan kami senang bersantai di kafe. Lokasinya berada di sisi timur pulau yang lebih sepi dari kesibukan Barat. Jika Anda ingin menjelajahi sisi barat dan timur pulau, resor ini sangat cocok karena terletak di antara keduanya. Satu kontra meskipun tidak ada gerbang yang mengelilingi vila dan anjing liar bisa datang di malam hari. Pastikan untuk tidak meninggalkan makanan di luar pada malam hari. Semua dan semua nilai uang yang besar dan pasti akan kembali lagi.

Sejujurnya, tidak nyaman untuk ditinggali.

Excelent experience at The Angkal Resort. Excelent staff, amenities, pool and restaurant view, and good food as well. We’ve enjoyed our days there!!

Had to change our booking from two nights to one due to this year's Nyepi Laut (= silent sea day), which would have kept us stranded on Nusa Penida on check-out day. For a single-night stay, I wouldn't recommend this hotel simply because of its remote location. (I.e., it is approximately 45 to 60 minutes from the harbor(s) and streets on Penida are not exactly a joy to ride; especially at night!) If you're staying for a couple of nights or longer, this charming facility is definitely worth checking out, though.

Super quiet, clean rooms and super friendly staff. Maybe rooms can have a bit of maintenance, some doors locks are broken and bathroom had some defects. Location is quite remote but still 30 mins drive to main area of activities. You can rent scooters here, book boats back to the island and find car transportation to the ports or around the island. Bonus: You can great view from the infinity pool to the ocean or amazing sunrise.

Solo trip to Penida. Didn’t know that this hotel is located far off the harbour and everything but the hotel/villa itself is WONDERFUL. Clean rooms, bathroom. Outside your room you can chill, smoke and witness the sunrise. Great pool overlooking the sea. Staff were great and always there when you need help. The restaurant was undergoing maintenance work but we can have our breakfast either by the pool or in your room. Book this property if you want a EXCELLENT view. Surrounding very peaceful. Nearest eatery is Warung Ogy which serves nice grilled fish. It’s like 5-10mins walk or 3-5mins by bike. No shops nearby. So stock up when you’re in town or saw a minimart.
