Belmond Monasterio: The Best Hotel in Cusco, Beyond Any Comparison Without exaggeration, Belmond Monasterio is the best hotel in Cusco. Even after trying two other higher-priced Belmond properties and the JW Marriott, I still firmly believe this is the ultimate choice. The beauty of this hotel is beyond words. The elegant public spaces and tranquil gardens create an atmosphere of timeless serenity. The classic, historic walls whisper stories of the past, while the dazzling golden chapel adds a breathtaking sense of grandeur. Every detail is a masterpiece. Yet, what truly sets Belmond Monasterio apart is its service. The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Their service attitude is impeccable—perhaps the best in South America. A prime example: when I lost my credit card, they found it and returned it promptly. Compared to the Los Cabos Waldorf (which I mention due to its premium pricing), this hotel’s service is on another level—infinitely more personal, thoughtful, and heartfelt. I would love to give special recognition to my butler, though unfortunately, I have forgotten his name. In short, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Endless love for Belmond Monasterio.

酒店位置很好 在老城區 離武器廣場走路六七分鐘 酒店內部環境很不錯 裝飾很漂亮 也很乾凈 房間也整潔乾淨 但房間裏沒有排氣扇 衞生間的味道很難散掉 特別是沒有窗户的封閉房間 幾乎散不掉 服務就很難説了 訂了帶窗帶陽台的高級房 check in時説房間沒了 給我升級的房間 結果“升級”的房間是一個沒有窗户的全密閉的房間！我不同意 但酒店説沒房了 “討論”結果 是給我免費晚餐 我沒有選擇衹能接受…

not in the centre of Cusco but close enough, 5-10mins to main square. we left our luggage at hotel when we went to Machu Picchu and when we got back was already waiting for us in our reserved room. decent size bed/ room, bath room but small and the fan is cold in winter as it blows directly to the shower/tun. But generally good service. breakfast was also decent, although they seemed understaffed at the restaurant

Highly recommended, I’d definitely stay here again Location is unbeatable: just a 3‑minute walk to Plaza de Armas, perfect for exploring the city on foot. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with a cosy bed and a heater available at all times. No TV in my room but honestly, with everything nearby, you won’t miss it 😄 Extremely helpful staff, genuinely some of the most supportive I’ve ever encountered. They were incredibly accommodating and even helped me multiple times late at night when Rappi wasn’t working and I needed to order food. If you have early tours (4:00, 5:00, 6:00 AM), just let them know in advance — they’ll happily prepare your breakfast earlier for you, which I really appreciated. They also decorated our room exactly as requested, which made our stay even more special.

L’appartamento è nuovissimo e super accogliente. È arredato bene ed è anche molto accessoriato: ha tutto il necessario per cucinare, ottima lavatrice-asciugatrice, asciugacapelli, riscaldamento portatile, ecc. È a circa 10 minuti a piedi dal centro in un edificio moderno ben isolato. Dopo un’iniziale incertezza, la comunicazione a distanza ha funzionato bene. Siamo stati così bene che abbiamo prolungato di due notti!
