A pleasant hotel! Everything looks quite new. Comfortable bed (I especially liked that there is a choice between regular pillows and memory foam pillows). Good value for money (especially compared to hotels in Sanya where I am now and where hotels in this price range seem much lower quality). Friendly staff at reception. The only thing that could be better is sound insulation, in particular noise coming from outside the hotel. Even with the window closed, it felt as though it was open (what you hear is mostly traffic noise - which I got used to pretty quickly - but one evening also some loud music which annoyed me more; that stopped at 22:30 though, so not too bad after all). If I return to Haikou, I might certainly consider this hotel again.

Let's start with the positives. The rooms at the hotel were undeniably great. They were spacious, well-designed, and offered a comfortable ambiance. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the room decor, making it a pleasant space to relax after a long day of exploring the area. The hotel's breakfast selection was another highlight of my stay. There was a good variety of options, and the quality of the food was quite impressive. Starting my day with a satisfying breakfast definitely set a positive tone for my daily adventures. Though the overall service at the hotel was just okay, there was one staff member who stood out and made a significant difference in my stay - Kitty. Kitty's exceptional assistance and attentiveness were truly commendable. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options. However, there were some glaring issues that affected my experience. First and foremost, the Wi-Fi connection was terrible. As a traveler, having reliable internet access is essential for staying connected and planning daily activities. Unfortunately, the unreliable Wi-Fi at the hotel made this difficult, and it was quite frustrating. Additionally, the swimming pool was a letdown. Despite appearing beautiful in the pictures, it was actually dirty during my stay. I was looking forward to relaxing by the poolside, but the unclean water made it an unappealing option. Furthermore, the location of the hotel was a significant drawback. It was far from most of the popular attractions and amenities, making it inconvenient and time-consuming to travel to places of interest. I found myself spending more time commuting than enjoying the destination itself. On the culinary front, while there was a restaurant called ”China First,” the food was indeed excellent. However, I can't overlook the fact that it was expensive, and overall, the hotel felt overpriced for the amenities and services provided.

The environment and people are very good, the hygiene and service are very good, anything the room needs can be delivered immediately, the staff is extremely enthusiastic, the location is also very good and convenient, the girl at the front desk recommended a lot of delicious food and fun things. Highly recommended.

Great location (though 30 mins from the airport). The staff were helpful and upgraded our room. The hostel is in the middle of town and around the back is the bus stop for the #3 on/off tourist bus which takes you to the beach and harbour areas. A 2 hour round trip, so a nice cheap way … 5CNY (have the correct cash) to see the area. Lots of food options in the area, but make sure you eat up at lunch time as most places were not open at dinner time.

Neat and funky, modern with some techy stuff. Bed was very comfortable, pillow was less ideal but suffices. Big room and spacious rest area which I like. The sound proofing was pretty decent so you don't hear the train passing by or the traffic noise, that is until your neighbour speaks loudly (thankfully not for long) or if someones slams the door hard (esp if you are sleeping). Great black out curtains which open on its own when you remove the key from its space and closes when you're stick it in (think it depends on how you set it before you leave the room). Bathroom was also splendid. As was the nespresso coffee- great for waking me up. A very comfortable place of rest until the final night- we were told that the sensor malfunctioned, waking us up in the middle of the night- curtains opening on its own, air-conditioning suddenly switching off (no we didn't change any settings for that to happen), lights turning on all of a sudden. All good otherwise.

The hotel service is meticulous and meticulous. I booked a room for my parents. I was kindly provided with late-night refreshments when I checked in at night. When I left, I took the initiative to help call a taxi and pack my luggage. Thank you to the reception staff for their enthusiastic service. I will choose Manxin Mansion again when I stay in Haikou next time!

I highly recommend Yafan Hotel. It is surrounded by rich cultural resources, and the Provincial Museum and the Provincial Library are within easy reach. The room is large and warmly decorated. The high floor has a wide view and is pleasing to the eye. It is clean and hygienic, and the living experience is good. The room lady has thoughtful service, making people feel at home. It is the best choice for travel accommodation.

The overall decoration can be seen in the official pictures, Chinese style, giving people a sense of tranquility, comfort, leisure and health. Every time you pass by the front desk, the waiter will beat the ethereal drum, which penetrates your body and mind. The room is clean and sanitary, and most importantly, it is fully equipped. The small refrigerator, dryer, small tea set, agarwood, and smart toilet are the highlights. The disposable supporting facilities are complete, including razors and sewing kits. The service is warm and thoughtful, and the front hall is equipped with coffee, green tea and warm water. The room is well soundproofed. Spacious and bright. There is a fresh air system. Suitable for family travel and business accommodation. The main feature is a meditation. The price-performance ratio is super good. There are plenty of parking spaces. The buffet breakfast facilities are complete in Chinese and Western styles, and there is no problem eating well and being full. In particular, the cleansing gel is particularly easy to use. Friends who come to Haikou are welcome to try this hotel. Anyway, I am very satisfied with all the conditions. Worth recommending

The plane arrived in Haikou at one o'clock in the evening. The boss waited for us next to the airport. It took a few minutes to drive to the hotel. In a small courtyard in a villa area, the boss kept sending us to the room and helped me carry two large suitcases throughout. So touched 😹. Although it was in the middle of the night, as soon as I entered the door, the floor of the hall was clean and reflective. Although the parent-child room was small, it was very warm and super clean. Children especially liked the tatami bed. The boss is a diligent person. The decoration style and sanitary conditions of the homestay show that the operator is really tasteful and exquisite. Especially clean, the small yard is very warm and comfortable, the children write winter vacation homework is a great place, quiet around. The scene of the boss eating made me see the longing life, and I took into account survival and life in a warm and comfortable place. The service of the package pick-up and drop-off station is too worry-free. One person takes two babies on vacation, and the hotel is basically not to worry about anything. No pictures of the room were taken, but the website was basically a real shot, clean and comfortable.
