Hotel dengan balkon di Chengdu

This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms. Some noteworthy details: - Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort. - The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include: (a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now! (b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room (c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C. (d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold. - Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them. - We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away. - We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2. - Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too. - We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests. Areas of improvement: - Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake. - The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper. - Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor). Thank you Ocean Spring Resort Chengdu! We had a great stay here. Will definitely be back!

Kami menikmati masa menginap kami di sini secara keseluruhan. Meja Depan sangat membantu dalam membantu kami mendapatkan tiket untuk melihat panda. Lokasi sangat bagus dan dalam jarak berjalan kaki ke Jalan Chunxi dan stasiun kereta bawah tanah. kamarnya luas dan memiliki pemandangan yang indah. Kami tinggal di dua kamar tidur dengan dapur, mesin cuci dan pengering. Hanya sedikit kekurangannya. dapurnya tidak dilengkapi dengan banyak peralatan, selain sumpit dan spatula. Kekurangan kedua adalah wastafel dan pancuran sepertinya mengalami sedikit kesulitan saat digunakan. Sarapan prasmanannya biasa saja. Pilihan Cina disajikan pada suhu kamar dan pilihan Barat sedikit dan agak kering.

Prasmanan sarapan kecil hotel, yang menggantikan menu set yang biasanya monoton, merupakan kejutan yang menyenangkan dan patut dipuji! Sebuah pembatas telah dipasang antara hotel dan Lahan Basah Zhongshui, dan tidak ada parkir sembarangan di area hotel, memberikan rasa aman dan privasi bagi para tamu. Salut! Namun, kaca jendela di kamar kami dipenuhi stiker dan cat eksterior yang banyak, membuatnya sangat kotor! Seharusnya ini tidak terjadi lagi setelah sekian lama. Tumpukan jeruji besi berkarat di trotoar sungguh mengganggu pemandangan! Pukul 11.50, puncak check-out, hanya ada satu staf di meja resepsionis, yang agak kacau dan sulit dipercaya.

Dalam perjalanan kembali ke Hong Kong, saya menginap semalam di Hyatt Centric yang baru dibuka di Chengdu. Lokasinya sangat nyaman, hanya 10 menit dari Stasiun Kereta Timur Chengdu. Setelah turun dari kereta api cepat, taksi dengan cepat membawa saya ke sana. Begitu saya turun dari mobil, saya disambut hangat oleh Experience Curator hotel mereka, Jasmine. Ini langsung mengubah perjalanan yang sangat melelahkan menjadi menyenangkan, menghilangkan semua kelelahan. Fasilitas sambutan yang disiapkan juga sangat penuh perhatian. Saya sudah menginap di banyak hotel mewah, tetapi lukisan cat minyak dan koran yang digambar sendiri oleh Jasmine benar-benar menyentuh hati saya. Saya juga mencoba restoran mereka untuk makan malam. Saya harus mengakui profesionalisme grup Hyatt dalam hal kuliner. Masakan Sichuan-nya sangat otentik. Saya sangat merekomendasikan teman-teman dari luar kota yang menginap di hotel ini untuk langsung mencoba masakan Tiongkok mereka di hotel. Setelah makan malam, saya juga pergi ke bar hotel mereka. Koktailnya indah, lingkungannya sangat bagus, sangat santai, dengan angin sepoi-sepoi yang bertiup. Ini adalah tempat bersantai yang luar biasa di tengah kota. Saya menambahkan dua sarapan di meja depan untuk sarapan, harganya sangat terjangkau! Saya sangat menyarankan jika Anda punya waktu untuk menambahkan sarapan di meja depan, harganya sangat menguntungkan. (For context, I was a black female solo traveller) Location On a long street with many restaurants and shops along the street and a self service ATM 5 -10 min walk away, including a small market in the mornings. It is a residential area, so you will most likely be the only foreigner, but people are extremely friendly and helpful, albeit the stares. The entrance faced the main road and was well lit. There is a flight of stairs that you will need to go up to get to the hostel area. If you have not tried hot pot, I would def recommend going to the Haichiniu Xianxianqie Beef Self service Hot Pot place which is around 5 mins walk down the road. Quite far from the centre of the city however it is extremely easy to get to. During the day, there is a close proximity to the underground around 10 min walk, and there is a bus that I took from the city centre to right outside the hostel door where the bus stop was. If you are going through the night/early morning, it is extremely easy to catch a taxi through apps and it is quite cheap (around 40- 70 yen) and the road is very well lit. I felt completely safe in the area. Service Chu, the hostel aunty is warm and helpful, and gives you a sense of being home away from home. This included being made some home made dumplings to celebrate Golden Week which tasted delicious! She gave recommendations on places to go and made sure that I kept safe when out. As another review said, it can be a bit difficult communicating if you don't know Chinese as no English at the hostel or around the area is spoken and it can get quite draining/ mentally challenging at times for us, however Chu still tried her best to communicate regardless and I really appreciated the effort. To get around this and to make your stay more enjoyable, I would be sure to have WeChat set up prior so you can use the chat translator and have your google translate app out ready. (N.B Make sure you are able to set up the account and get the WeChat validation/security text through your HOME sim/data roaming as opposed to attempting to set up your account on your E-sim which won't work). Facilities It is a hostel that provides what you need. The things that took my British head some time to get around was the shower situation and the bed; namely the shower as it was more typical of an advanced bidet than standard shower. However, it was kept exceptionally clean after my first day there and I did my part of keeping it clean by bleaching it down. The bed is quite sturdy, typical of Chinese beds, so I would recommend bringing a blanket or similar to lay on the mattress so you can get to sleep. There is an upstairs area where you can use the washing machine or wash your clothes by hand and an open area to hang dry your clothes. Make sure you have some cash ready to give to Chu to use the machine. There is a vending machine that you can buy snacks for using the your WeChat pay. There is a seating area at the top where you can sit down and eat, smoke and chat. Once you are used to the different products used (i.e remembering the slippers, using the shower etc.), it becomes second nature and a very comfortable stay (funny story: I was sitting on a desk chair outside my room and being use to the chairs in the UK being quite heavy, I swung myself around and ended up falling off the chair LOL!). Cleanliness Like I mentioned above, the hostel is kept exceptionally clean and I had no concerns around hygiene once I got used to the shower situation. The cleanliness is what I can say was a huge benefit to the hostel. Considering how large the place is and Chu is the sole host, it is kept evidently very clean and Chu will be sure to tell you to tidy up too lool. People in China are not a fan of strong smells/ fragranced things so you will not smell bleach or such products but after seeing a storage room, I can assure they are being used! The photos in the other reviews capture it exactly so you will not be surprised when coming to the place.

Fruit Dance Hotel tempat saya menginap kali ini memberi saya kejutan besar! Hotel ini berada di lokasi yang sangat strategis, dengan fasilitas bersantap dan perbelanjaan lengkap di sekitarnya, membuat perjalanan menjadi sangat mudah. Desain kamarnya sederhana tetapi berteknologi tinggi, dan perangkat rumah pintarnya sangat membantu pengalaman menginap! Sprei-nya lembut dan nyaman, insulasi suaranya sangat bagus, dan saya tidur nyenyak di malam hari. Kamar mandi dipisahkan menjadi area kering dan basah, dan dilengkapi dengan perlengkapan mandi lengkap. Anda dapat merasakan perhatian terhadap detail. Hal yang paling terpuji adalah pelayanannya!
