Good location is a plus point, it’s a decent hotel for the price being paid. Downside is that it has no lift and the reception is on 2nd floor. Average breakfast but is manageable for Vegetarians Standard room has no balcony or city view. It’s an internal window with no view whatsoever.

Our Flight got cancelled due to visa issues, we went to a different hotel called MAAJID HOTEL in old city, Before yesterday we were here for 5 nights, after spending one night in maajid hotel we missed the amenities & luxuries we had in this hotel so early morning we decided to come back to AUSTIN HOTEL BAKU again because its in the heart of baku , every time whether its day or night you look outside the window, you see the world alive in nice dresses & good moods, i would say its the HILTON HOTEL OF VEGAS in Baku. No scam at all but please book this hotel only through trip.com because trip.com get you half price, i came here personally to check the price for a room , they quoted me a $100 night which is reasonable but i opened trip.com app & found the same room price in just $50 a night then i try to book & its done in just 1 minute. No Scam No overcharge Very friendly staff Staff is so good like they talk to you like they are your family members. I am very impressed, i will visit this hotel again & again & again but only through trip.com

It's good except that there is no elevator to climb the stairs! It is very close to the surrounding attractions, and also close to the subway.

Good location, lively and convenient

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights, I had booked a Deluxe room on the 1st floor (reception floor but felt like 2nd floor). The hotel has an amazing location right at the center of Nizami street and makes it very easy to walk to Baku Boulevard and İçərişəhər (old city) . There are plenty of restaurants, ATM, markets (grocery store) and other stores nearby. You get an amazing night view from their balcony (more like a window for my deluxe room) of the golden Nizami street. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean but the housekeeping wasn't that great. The used cup and glass were poorly cleaned everyday with stains still remaining and it was still wet. I suspect it was washed nearby if you understand ((( Even the towels weren't replaced properly even though I kept them on the floor ( very minimal would be replaced ) The con of this room was loud nightclub music at night located right below . Some of the staff was friendly ( ex: Mr. Jamil) and helped me understand and solve any issues. While others were not very friendly and a little rude or appeared so. The breakfast was very basic - scrambled eggs and toast with a variety of raw salad, cheese, jam and cold cuts with instant coffee and hot water in the dispenser. The staff kept asking me everyday as to which room I was staying at every time I went for breakfast for the duration of my stay, which was kind of annoying. There is no elevator but they help with the luggage, but they are not always available for this. My local friend, whom I know for many years was visiting me and I had to give something to them from my luggage (I informed about this to reception earlier and assured me it's not a problem) but when they arrived, they were treated badly and somethings were implied and staff was rude to my friend at first and 20 Manat and their ID wad requested on the spot for them to even enter my room for 5 minutes. My friend got offended and explained it to me later as I had no idea why this was done. I've travelled to other countries but never seen anything like this. The staff later told me it's a security policy but they could have behaved better and not be so rude when explaining. Overall due to its location it saved grace. The Hotel is very good with great view and in the middle of Nizami street,you get everything just at walking distance. The staff is helpful especially Nigar (reception )was very helpful and kind 😀👍 she suggested us places to visit nearby. Overall we had a nice experience here.

Hotel location is good, comfortable stay. Issues...no lift, limited option in breakfast. Very cooperative staff. Good room service and house keeping. Good option. Top floor with balcony, must choose to stay. Avoid to opt hotel at Nizami street if cannot climb stairs. No lift allowed.

Stayed at the hotel for 5 nights during our recent trip to Baku. The hotel is located centrally on Nizami street and has a great plus point. The hotel is perfect if you are looking to have a feel and vibes of Nizami street. The rooms are big in size and the balcony offers a great view of the street. The staff is courteous and room service is decent. The hotel though has some limitations, and you should know it well in advance. The rooms are on 2d and 3' floor and reception is on 1st floor. Beling an old building, there is no elevator. You get porter service, and the staff is courteous enough to help carry your luggage. Limited vegetarian options in breakfast. Even after considering all the limitations, we found the hotel to be a good value for money specially if you are looking to stay on the Nizami street.

Great location. Great staff. Room was comfortable. We stayed for two nights the change our hotel but after 1 night came back to AUSTIN HOTEL. any bodey traveling to baku must take hotel in this area. Everything is near buy streets are beautiful.

I can only rate this hotel with 2 stars, never understood why it had 4 stars anyway as this is certainly not a 4 star hotel. The only good thing is it's in the middle of bakus nazimi street which is a great pedestrian area. The rooms are so so, clean and all but by far not a 4 star hotel standard. The worst thing about this place is the stairs! There is no elevator so be prepared to climb flights of stairs to your room! If you're not young and super fit this is an absolute no go!!! Breakfast is very very basic absolutely nothing to write home about. This is a hotel for young backpackers that dont mind the stairs and just wanna be part of bakus nightlife

Pros -Good location of the hotel right in the centre of Nizami street Everything thing in close proximity Restaurants, tour companies and shopping Cons - hotel is old No lifts if you get the room on third floor you would have to be fit or else you have to break your journey to your room at least twice. Once you are in the room you will think twice about getting down as there is no lift in the hotel. Staff was helpful breakfast was very very basic and sad
