"I was pleasantly surprised by how large the suite was. There was actual room to move around in the bathroom and plenty of room to spread out my various luggage. I only have a couple minor drawbacks. The king bed was basically a couple of cot frames with a large mattress, which left one side noticeably higher than the other. There was also no appreciable blanket on the bed. It was more like a thin throw blanket, which required me to fetch a fleece blanket from my vehicle to stay warm. The televisions are rather small, which wasn't a huge deal except for the few hours I was in the room, and the sofa was not comfortable to sit on for very long. This was somewhat due to it being a sofa bed, but it was definitely showing its age. These were not very troublesome due to how little time I was in the room each day, but a longer stay would have made these painful to put up with."

"The hotel's surroundings are a bit secluded, so I wouldn't recommend walking too far at night. However, the hotel's location is excellent, with river views, and the art museum directly opposite the main entrance is definitely worth a visit. The hotel lobby and elevators have a classic, traditional feel, while the rooms, especially the bathrooms, are modern and very clean. The front desk staff I encountered were all lovely. The food and beverage options on the first floor are quite good, and while the gym might have a slight odor due to recent renovations, the facilities are excellent. Overall, highly recommended!"
