Such an ideal hotel for those who has early flight or just a short stay. It got everything we need. Countdown & warehouse just next to the hotel. Complimentary cereal & hot beverages. So thoughtful of the hotel to have a play area for the kids which my son enjoyed it very much. There is an airport shuttle too which cost 6 nzd pp. Free for children under 12.

Very conveniently located in CBD-- e.g., just a very short walk to Sky Tower, a 15 min. walk to the wharf (such as to the ferry building for getting to Waiheke Island) or up to K-Street. The included breakfast had ample choices for myself, a vegan. The kitchenette was also functional. The gym is small but has enough in there to have a good fitness routine. Onsite parking in basement was also a plus, though a bit on the pricy side (NZ$20 per 24 hours). I would stay here again on any return trip to Auckland, NZ.

5-6kms away from airport. A good resting place for next day flight. Free shuttles every 30 minutes. Food was great too. No lift so you need to carry your heavy luggages to your room when their luggage storage at the lobby is packed.

Budget is a key word for this hotel. More a hostel with private rooms than a hotel. Good for 1 night but I wouldn't recommend for a longer stay. I stayed in double studio. There's no furniture in the room except bed, tv stand and one stool so you end up doing everything on bed. No bedside table, night lamp etc, only ceiling light (switch is located far away from bed). Can't fully unpack as there is no wardrobe. There's small cupboard with rail and 3 hangers but it's so high, it's impossible to reach those hangers. The double studio has a small kitchenette with hot plates and sink. Cooking is not expected as no pots or utensils are available (removing the kitchenette and adding wardrobe or desk would likely be more beneficial to customers). On the plus side, fridge, kettle, tea, coffee, microwave and iron is available in the room. Location is very convenient, very close by or in short walking distance to main attractions. Noise from outside can be disturbing late into the night, especially during the weekends. Easy to get to/from the airport with SkyCity bus which is just couple blocks away.

I am very thankful got to stay at Airport Kiwi Motel as I left my bag on the yellow bus and reception gentleman helped me to track it back for me wothout missing anything. The room is spacious and cups and bowls with other kitchen items are very helpful and clean. just that i heard neighour room's noise like kids talking and adult snooring :D I will book again if i need to change flights in short days.

Checked in on Christmas Day. After checking in in the afternoon, the kids wanted to drink mineral water. The nearby shops were not open. May at the reception was very friendly and took out 2 bottles of mineral water from her car. Thank her very much. Because of her, I can give a good review to the hotel.

I also appreciated the hotel's fitness center and business center, which were both well-equipped and easily accessible. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The hotel's restaurant served a delicious breakfast buffet, with a wide range of options to suit all tastes. I also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, which offered a great selection of local and international dishes. The food was tasty, well-presented, and reasonably priced. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the Gateway Airport Hotel in Mangere. The combination of excellent service, modern facilities, and delicious food made for a truly enjoyable stay. I used to stay here before. For me this room was smaller than my previous room. Not bad tho. I like a reception she always be nice with me and tried to help me. The location is good coz it’s on queen st but you have to walk up to little hill just a little bit

The facilities are complete, and there is a commercial center across the road, which is very convenient for daily life and shopping. There is a transportation hub in the center, which is also convenient for travel.
