Booked Novotel at AKL airport since it was the closest hotel. Room was fantastic and since we had a flight out the next day, saved a lot of stress of getting a shuttle bus with our bags. The room was furnished with a very comfortable bed and bathroom was huge. Even though the AKL airport runway was visible from the room, due to double pane glass windows, we did not hear sounds of jets taking off or landing. Highly recommended if staying to catch early flight out to save time and hassle

The hotel is so close to the airport, just 2 mins walking. It is super convenient when you get a early flight on next day

Such an ideal hotel for those who has early flight or just a short stay. It got everything we need. Countdown & warehouse just next to the hotel. Complimentary cereal & hot beverages. So thoughtful of the hotel to have a play area for the kids which my son enjoyed it very much. There is an airport shuttle too which cost 6 nzd pp. Free for children under 12.

The hotel next to the airport exceeded my expectations. Since I had an early flight, I chose to stay at the hotel the next day. The location is excellent and there is a shuttle bus to the airport.

The room was clean and tidy, and you can see that it has been renovated. Although the breakfast is simple, it is still acceptable. There is airport pick-up, free of charge. Please note that you need to make an appointment with the front desk to reserve a seat for the morning airport pick-up.

Airport Shuttle is great (and free) runs every half an hour, make sure to book it.  Rooms are big enough, shower pressure is great. Staff is friendly and helpful.  Can highly recommend for a night after/ or before your flight. Area is not great (no restaurants except for the hotel one) but close to airport.

Checked in on Christmas Day. After checking in in the afternoon, the kids wanted to drink mineral water. The nearby shops were not open. May at the reception was very friendly and took out 2 bottles of mineral water from her car. Thank her very much. Because of her, I can give a good review to the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The facilities were excellent, offering everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing experience. The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The staff was also friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay from check-in to check-out. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a neat, well-equipped hotel. It was little far from airport , but there is a yellow bus which connects airport and hotels every specific intervals.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Gateway Airport Hotel in Mangere, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service at the Gateway Airport Hotel was top-notch. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. From the warm greeting at check-in to the helpful assistance with my luggage, every interaction I had with the staff was pleasant and professional. The hotel's facilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a plush bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a convenient workspace. The bathroom was clean and well-appointed, with a great shower and plenty of towels. I also appreciated the hotel's fitness center and business center, which were both well-equipped and easily accessible. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The hotel's restaurant served a delicious breakfast buffet, with a wide range of options to suit all tastes. I also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, which offered a great selection of local and international dishes. The food was tasty, well-presented, and reasonably priced. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the Gateway Airport Hotel in Mangere. The combination of excellent service, modern facilities, and delicious food made for a truly enjoyable stay. Easy check in. Front desk customer service is awesome! Only one entrance to the hotel which meant the carpark was far away from our room. The foyer had an off stench every time you walked in. The room was great, especially for what we paid for it. The buffet breakfast closes earlier in comparison to other hotels we’ve stayed at so we didn’t get to enjoy brunch for long. Also would be beneficial to have a little sign for items you can order somewhere near the buffet as we didn’t know you could order hashbrowns. The only hassle we had was housekeeping. 2 days we had left early and arrived late to our room not done and the sign still on the door. One of those days, we had popped back in to pick up some clothes and housekeeping was outside our room when we came out.
