Ski lift just in front of the property , few steps away, free parking, ski rental within walking distance, free shuttle available to take you to Aspen for dinner, shopping or to the Airport , each room has a designated locker for boots and skis
The negative aspects:
- The place is old and is crying for a remodeling
- Rooms are tight and have oversized furniture
- Absolute lack of ventilation in bathrooms and rooms
- Extremely Dated decor
- Terrible Housekeeping job
- Linens are in bad shape
- Only one restaurant on site with limited food selections
- At the price paid over $560 per night it was a total disappointment, I understand that this is a Prime location, but I feel like I was sleeping in a Red Roof Inn or a Motel 6

I booked this room bc my granddaughter wanted to swim outside in the heated pool in the mountains. Pool was not heated bc it was broken. Motel 6s are in better condition than this old ran down place. Will not be back ever

Best thing about this property is the shuttle service! Very friendly prompt drivers, service is convenient and fast. Our room was quite strange. The rooms are not all the same because they are independently owned. Our room was very dated, the mattress had some sort of weird moisture barrier that made it crackle when you moved. Light switches were impossible to find. Exterior of building has a lot of deferred maintenance. Overall, just sort of a bizarre place—not terrible, just odd.

Great price for an Aspen hotel and the staff/owner were super friendly and helpful. It is not fancy and the bed was pretty bad. But a good deal considering the location

Heater cycled on and off every 30 seconds. Not too noisy but annoying. Should cycle slower or be on all the time at a low setting.
