Hotel is exactly what it says on the tin. Small room but cozy enough. Bathroom quite comfortable. Though it’s more of a wet room. So bring shower slippers. Bar downstairs decent. Close to a fun retail park. Staff were friendly. I was able to access check in early. That was a relief!

Great location, eating places on the doorstep, not a very warm welcome on arrival, nice room very clean, spacious bathroom with good powerful shower, bed very comfortable, breakfast poor, water was warm, no continental cheese or meat options, no fresh fruit, poor pastry selection, hot options not great

Lives up to its name!

Not very good value for money. Very tired decor. Cleaning not very good. In fact all they did was make the bed.

Apart from delay at check in, all good, one concern was around parking, whether it was free or not, but friendly reception cleared up my request.

Broken fan and light not working in bathroom, room not ready at check in other than a couple of ******* a comfy stay on the whole. We like these hotels because my adult kids love the gym!

The rooms are in desperate need of re-decoration / renovation. Basics are falling apart in the room e.g. the kettle did not even work. The hot towel rail didn't heat up didnt work I tried to switch it on, the extractor fan didn't come on at all, the mirror didn't auto dry the water after the shower was used. You could see how dirty the extractor fan was by standing underneath. I have had to open the window to get rid of steam allowing the toilet to dry itself which made the room very cold. The room had tons of dust everywhere starting from the TV remote itself. There were hair on the carpet which I could spot. The chair which is placed infront of the mirror is in terrible state. When i was sitting down on the chair my body started to itch. I really think that chair needs to be either fumigated or replaced with a new one.

I hate having to say this lady in reception was amazing very professional and polite when we went up to room never noticed until arriving back after meal at miller and carter started to get very warm our air con on was repulsively itching I do think the air con and vents need a good clean the room was dusty on mirrors and vent I have pictures overall I couldn’t wait to check out I have less than a hours sleep and feel exhausted just a waste of money we went to have relaxing night and feel worst I hate giving negative feedback but it’s important you are aware to resolve such issues as dirty vents and conditioning units can cause problems with respiratory and on the skin.

Fantastic staff. Great food selection in the bar and comfortable room. Can’t recommend enough. Will be back.

We was in an accessible room not by request. The sink and bed was too low making it very uncomfortable. The room was in desperate need of a refresh as very worn. The towels had make up stains. Skirting boards and carpets very dusty.

The self check in was not the easiest but the hotel and rooms were very good. Only negative I would have is no fridge in room

Stayed for 2nights, no problems during our stay and all staff were really helpful and nice. Only thing I would say is the standard rooms are quite small and there’s only a small pole to hand your clothes which is quite high above unit next to the bed which I couldn’t reach.
