The apartment consists of 3 Bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has King Bed and boasts great views, Bedroom 2... Queen bed and also boasts great views. Bedroom 3....Twin beds and unfortunately no views. There is also a Cosy lounge, Great Views, Sky TV, DVD, The kitchenette is small but adequate..The cooking of a Top Cook oven,electic frypan, microwave,double elements, toaster and'electric all utensils and is a fridge/ front loading washing machine. We supply sufficient tea, coffee, salt, pepper, paper towel, toilet paper, soap etc to get you started for your stay .... Outside is a courtyard with hooded barbecue. A long deck runs off the queen bedroom and seating and great views,. There is a wonderful lawn with gardens We live above The Apartment so are available to help with ideas of where to go and what to do. There is a very Large Luxurious bath,huge walk in shower ,toilet and double handbasin. The apartment has its own entrance and a carpark on the grounds. Our Neighborhood is extremely Safe. Situated in the wonderful “Latitude 41” apartment block along Wakefield Quay, Nelson’s prime waterfront. We offer a roomy 61m2 apartment with an additional balcony. We believe it’s the small things that count when staying away from home so we offer shampoo, conditioners, soap, tea, coffee (Nespresso machine) hairdryer and a fully equipped kitchen. The TV is a smart TV where Netflix can be accessed with your own Netflix accountLuxury linens are also provided. Fibre broadband internet is available. The apartment is 2.5km to the city centre and 3.2km stroll along the waterfront to the popular Tahunanui beach. Kick back and watch the ships sail past your window or grab your fishing rod and take your chance fishing off the jetty across the road. For breakfast enjoy eggs beni and great coffee across the road at the Styx cafe or dine at the boat shed or the popular Thai Resturant Narm or maybe you just want fish and chips. All are just a stroll away.Free secure parking is inside the building.PLEASE NOTE: Like all waterfront properties it is situated on a main road, so traffic noise can be excessive when on the balcony. However the double glazed doors closed, cancel out the noise inside the apartment and do not affect sleeping as the bedroom is situated in the back of the property. You will enjoy staying here by the sea, as we have for our regular escape from our busy life. In fact we love it so much we have also invested in the apartment next door. Mākoha is Maori for Tranquil; which perfectly describes this hidden oasis. It s self-contained and provides beautiful country views in a spacious one-bedroom apartment. Mākoha is located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac but is only 3km from the center of Nelson city. It s the perfect place to relax and have a bbq on the patio after a day out exploring everything the region has to offer.The space:Mākoha Place is a cute one bedroom apartment below our own home. It's private and has its own separate entrance. The apartment is warm and has great views of the surrounding farmyard hills. It has a kitchen (fridge/freezer, bench top elements, microwave, jug, toaster, etc) which opens to the lining room (tv, stereo, & sofa that can convert into a bed). There's a spacious bathroom and bedroom (with a queen-size bed). It is furnished with quality furniture and appliances so you will be very comfortable. It has a private patio with outdoor seating and BBQ and resident native birds. A port-a-cot can also be supplied.Guest access:You will have the apartment to yourself, as we will set it up for you.Plenty of parking on a quiet residential cul-de-sac.Interaction with guests:Once contacted, I will give you all the specifics of how to confirm your booking and happily answer any questions that you may have about the place.You'll have my contact information in case of an emergency while here.Other points to note include:We do have a cat - which will more than likely pay you a visit.We also have a dog (lab x spaniel), who lives upstairs with us and in a private secure yard, so he won't bother you at all (but you're welcome to visit Monty if you like!) This modern, bright, cheerful one bedroom apartment is situated along Wakefield Quay, Nelsons waterfront. It is 2.5km to the city centre so nice and handy to all main shopping areas. If you head the other direction this will take you to Tahuna beach which is a nice walk 3.2 km walk along the waterfront.The apartment is a roomy 61m2 and has an additional balcony. Watch the boats come and go or even bring your fishing rod to sit at the pier and try your luck or better still just jump in for a swim. There are four restaurants just a hop skip and jump away, weather you enjoy Thai food or Nelsons top notch seafood restaurant "the boat shed" the choice is endless. Maybe even fish and chips or buy fresh fish from the famous Guytons fisheries shop across the road. Also across the road Kayaks can be hired to spend an afternoon exploring the waterfront area.Please note that like all Nelsons waterfront properties it is situated on a main road so traffic noise can be excessive from the balcony. Double glazed doors stop any noise inside the apartment so it does not effect sleeping. The sleeping area is in the rear of the apartment furthest from the road. Just a 45 minute drive will take you to the beautiful Kiateriteiri beach and then onto the Abel Tasman National Park where you can make a boat trip around the gorgeous bays. If you fancy smoked salmon stop off at the Mapua village whalf on your way, its worth it.We believe its the little things count when being on holiday and this comfortable apartment has been tastefully redecorated and a bathroom upgrade has been completed in April 2021and nothing has been left unthought of. All linen is provided and free ultra fast broadband is available. For the coffee lovers a Nespresso machine is also available with complementary pods. The TV is also a smart TV and Netflix can accessed your your own account, Prime is also available.
