Hotel Friesacher

The room size is good and feels even bigger, by the modern open space of the bath room. Garage parking at no charge. Very freindly team all over. perfect breakfast choices. Convinient for visiting Salzburg and the lakes. on the down side: old towels.

Das Hotelbetreiberehepaar Familie Friesacher ist mit hohem Anspruch und der ganzen Seele für diese beste Hotellerie in Salzburg engagiert. Und das merkt man immer sehr schnell. Immer eine Zeit zum Wohlfühlen für uns und immer gerne wieder. Danke für tolle Gastlichkeit!

I have stayed in that hotel many times before but never got around to write a review. I would say, this is one of the best hotels in the Salzburg area. The view from rooms facing the back is very nice. The rooms are a nice size and very clean and welcoming. Breakfast is simply delicious. The selection of the buffet is enormous. But you can also order an omlette, freshy prepared. You have a choice of several juices but also, if you like, champagne. Personally, I also like that the hotel has a restaurant at the property, as well as a Heurigen, which is an Austrian wine place where you can also have dinner. The bar is excellent.

We had a great stay at the Friesacher. We had booked a renovated room and it was better than we had expected. Everything has a consistent feeling of quality. The bed was large and the bathroom outstanding. We spent the time by the pool, ordered massages and made trips to, among other things, The eagle's nest. Services are actually perfect. The man (from Russia?) who mixes drinks for the pool and offers smaller dishes as lunch during the day does a really good job. The reception and breakfast staff are also really nice and professional. So rare when it's this good! The breakfast has a large selection, but this is also our only real criticism. You have to do something about all the insects and wasps that flock around the trays and the patio. My partner was stung by a wasp and we had to move indoors every morning due to all aggressive wasps. And we are not particularly fearful otherwise. But we had a really good holiday here! The service once we got to the hotel was, as I said, really good, but please answer questions via email even if they are written in English (e.g. taxi costs). It gives a much better impression to answer even if you don't know. It was almost that I didn't book due to of this.

Zimmer im neuen Bereich sind wunderschön und toll ausgestattet, auch die Lobby sieht super aus. Besonders begeistert hat uns das Frühstück, mit den viele Leckereien! Der Wellnessbereich ist klein und etwas altmodisch, auch der Pool war für diese Jahreszeit relativ kühl. Unser Zimmer wurde leider einmal nicht gemacht, was uns sehr enttäuscht hat?

Oft sind wir schon vorbeigefahren, jetzt haben wir die Gelegenheit genutzt und kurzfristig ein Zimmer reserviert. Freundlichster Empfang, sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, sehr geräumiges Zimmer, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt ein ausgezeichnetes und großzügiges Frühstück. Das Hotel ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Für die Größe des Hotels ist allerdings die Saunawelt etwas klein. Wir hatten Glück, denn das Haus war nicht ausgebucht.

War zu einem 2 Tagesseminar hier. Eingangsbereich schön renoviert und großzügig gestaltet. Die Beschriftung hat leider gefehlt zum Seminar. Raum war vom Organisator gut vorbereitet und gelüftet. Schade finde ich dass die Getränke nicht mal nachgefüllt werden in den Pausen und die Gläser den ganzen Tag nicht ausgetauscht werden. Auch wird der Samovar während den Pausen abgedreht und die Milch entweder gar nicht bereit gestellt oder versteckt dass man sich zu keiner anderen Zeit ein Heißgetränk nehmen kann, das ist nicht erwünscht. Mittagessen war sehr gut. Auswahl aus jeweils zwei Dingen und insgesamt drei Gänge. Leider gabs keine Butter beim Gedeck.

Wir hatten ein Arrangement mit 2 Abendessen gebucht und es war für uns alles wirklich sehr sehr gut. Top Zimmer, super Frühstück und das Essen lässt keine Wünsche offen. Kommen gerne wieder. Wer hier schlecht bewertet dem ist wohl nicht zu helfen.

Per motivi di lavoro ho pernottato, cenato e pranzato presso questo hotel numerose volte e mai ho avuto problemi di nessun genere. Camere bellissime, servizi SPA e piscina a disposizione, ristorante delizioso e prima colazione a buffet di grande qualità. Posizione a 5 km dal centro di Salisburgo ideale per visite in città.
