Torreluz Centro

Torreluz Centro Hotel was our home for the next five nights. This reasonably priced and super convenient hotel is located smack in the centro area of Almeria. So, basically park your car in the nearby car park and tour the city. You are within walking distance of the Alcazaba de Almeria, the 10th century Moorish Fortress, the 16th century Almeria Cathedral, great shopping and restaurants, and not far from the beaches, Playa de San Miquel and Playa del Zapillo. On your way to these beaches, you will pass by the impressive El Cable Ingles, the huge iron pier where they used to ship iron ore from the local mines. The hotel is on the Plaza de las Flores where you can have your picture taken with a statue of John Lennon reclining on a bench with his guitar. Why is this statue here? Well, Almeria was where John Lennon penned "Strawberry Fields for Ever". He played the part of Private Gripweed in the movie "How I won the War", which was filmed in the area. Torreluz Centro Hotel is a modern hotel featuring free wifi, air-conditioning, satellite tv. The beds and bedding are comfortable, featured in clean and comfortable rooms. I believe the parking was complimentary, the excellent breakfast buffet was offered at a very reasonable price. One of its features was the freshly squeezed orange juice. There is also a full service Restaurant available which offers patio dining, a nice convenience. And the Staff were friendly and courteous. Writing this review makes me want to go back. PS: If adventure afield is desired. a drive out to the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Cabo de Gata is easily doable. We spent the day at a wonderful beach called Playa de Los Genoveses. An interesting feature, are the multitude greenhouses in the area. These intensive agriculture operations, produce vegetables that are shipped all over Europe. The production and associated industry. account for almost 40% 0f Almeria's GDP.

Limpio, céntrico, parking, calidad precio muy bien, desayuno bueno bueno , puedes ver Almería a pie sin tener que coger coche, amables y serviciales, dispone de taberna donde poder comer cenar o desayunar, recomendable 100X100, bien de precio, para volver, esta es mí segunda vez en este hotel , no fallas

L'hotel si trova in centro accanto ad un altro hotel più nuovo della stessa catena. La nostra camera era grande, confortevole e pulita tuttavia l'edificio non è nuovo e le stanze non sono insonorizzate. C'è un parcheggio riservato per l'hotel a pagamento che è molto comodo se si viaggia in auto. La posizione è ottima per visitare la città a piedi.

Limpio, super céntrico, sé puede ver Almería andando tranquilamente, todo cerca, parking, amables, habitacion amplia, lastima que el baño es grande pero la bañera lo hace algo incómodo para poder estar 2 personas a la vez, ya que está todo muy junto, desayuno perfecto,lo justo,ni más ni menos, salón del desayuno sé realiza en el hotel de al lado también torrreluz pero este es de 4* y el torrreluz centro 3*, por el precio vale la pena 3*, sin lugar a duda volver a Almería este es mí hotel, caja fuerte, nevera, bastante almacenamiento, perfecto para ver Almería a pie

El Hotel está muy céntrico y limpio. El desayuno correcto La habitación pequeñisima,(llevo muchisimos años viajando y es la mas pequeña que he encontrado nunca),mal aislada y se oye todo el ruido de la calle y del resto de las habitaciones. Pedí una habitación Exterior en pisos altos y lo que me dieron fue un primer piso ruidoso y "poco menos que vinieron a decir que es lo que hay" Por otro lado no puedo juzgar el bar de tapas ya que a pesar de haber dos mesas libres, al ir solo (8 y media de la tarde) me comentaron que si queria comer algo pues que pasase al comedor interior (no había nadie en ese momento) En general se puede decir que el personal le falta empatía (o por lo menos a mi me lo pareció) Este hotel comparte recepción con NUEVO TORRELUZ, pero NO ES MISMA CADENA que TORRELUZ SENIOR...(Hotel este último en el que me alojé unos dias antes y que resultó PERFECTO)

Hotel con una situación inmejorable, cerca de todo: Alcazaba, catedral, puerto y zona de tapas. Los baños muy limpios, pero se han hecho cambios en los que no han estado muy finos a la hora de ocultar defectos.
