"How should I put it? It was as good as home, but it was not easy to park. There were no serious restaurants or scenery around, and it was in a run-down urban area. I drove by myself. It wasn’t until the next day that I drove a long distance to Palau, the northern tip of Sardinia, and realized why this place was... Friends, if you come back to this Mediterranean tourist destination, you should fly to Olbia instead of Alghero. The northern part of Sardinia, close to Corsica, is its essence."

"Close to Alghero but in a calm, rural location. Not everything needs to be fast paced. The lovely setting provided an afternoon of relaxation around the pool after a busy touristy day. The receptionist was amazing (personality & linguistically). The room was not exactly what we had picked but was clean and comfortable for the night. (Management did their best but it was a website booking problem - not to be held against this establishment.) Their onsite restaurant was great for both supper and breakfast. Definitely a place to go again."

This mansion has 6 rooms and ample public area including a beautiful garden and a spa in the ground floor The house is beautifully decorated in traditional decor very well kept. The hosts are the kindest ever answering every question helping with luggage and in general- helping with everything Our room on the first floor was beautiful , very spacious with a 3.5 meters beautifully painted high ceiling. The bathroom is very large (the size of rooms in other places) Everything in the room is of high quality and nothing is missing.i highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Alghero and the area"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our recent holiday at Sa Cheya. All the staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived to our early departure 7 days later! The choice of food at breakfast was extensive. The waitresses were excellent and always very welcoming each morning to the guests. They constantly checked and refilled the platters of food at the buffet. Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, and again the cleaning staff did an excellent job each day. We would recommend the hotel but you do need a car due to it being set in a lovely rural area on the outskirts of Alghero. There is no hotel transport to and from town. One minor moan - the complimentary teabags are not replenished daily and there is no milk. We had to go and buy milk and teabags in town for our room, which was a little disappointing and surprising for such a good hotel."

"Just back yesterday from a week at Giardino La playa. Great location-peaceful yet close to the Lido beach and a 10-15 minute walk from Maria Pia beach and about 30 minutes from the old town. Taxi is 10 euros if you don’t fancy the walk into town. We found the hotel excellent with comfortable rooms, great showr and very welcome aircon! Our room was cleaned and serviced every day and the whole hotel was spotlessly maintained. The whole team were lovely and happy to help in any way. A good choice of breakfast items can be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace overlooking the pool. The pool itself is beautiful with plenty of sun beds and comfy chairs. There is a lifeguard present all day who will fetch drinks/snacks for you from the bar. All in all good value for money and would definitely recommend."

"Convenient transportation, nice view outside the window. Unfortunately, I repeatedly emphasized the need for a quiet room before check-in, but in the last two days, I was inexplicably disturbed by heavy footsteps and couldn't fall asleep. It might be the guest upstairs, the wall resonance, or the elevator running. In short, I hope the hotel will seriously investigate the cause. After all, *20 is the largest and should be the better room in the hotel. In addition, there are quite a lot of mosquitoes in May, the tabletop is seriously damaged, and the floor is wet after taking a shower, which is easy to slip. The guest's check-in experience is still the most important, and I hope the hotel can pay attention to improvement."

"The hotel was clean, and the staff were politely, always happy to help and greet you morning and night. Room size was perfect, plenty of space and storage room. Two balconies, swimming pool was clean not too busy. Air con was great really needed when returning to the room. A little overpriced for what you get, considering I paid less for a different hotel last time, which was 4 stars. Plus you have to pay a city tax, which is common practice for all hotels. We didn't stay for breakfast as you can find a good deal along the beach each morning. But this was just preferrence for us. Walk was less than 5 mins walk. And you get a good stretch of beach and many restaurants, cafes, and bars. There is an area of the beech that is smelly towards the old town. It's not rubbish it just where they gather the seaweed and dry it out before disposing of it. This didn't have an impact on the great beach experience. You can hire chairs and umbrellas for half a day or full they range from 15 -30 euros do shop around. "
