Hotel Dei Pini

Claudia was amazing to work with in scheduling our trip. We had a large party that required us to book various rooms and she was patient throughout every exchange and a pure delight to work with. She secured the best rooms for us and everyone was very very happy with the outcome! Beautiful hotel and beautiful beach! Entire team was great! Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Alghero.

Great friendly check in. Lovely room with sea view. Breakfast top notch, really great spread. Beach amenities excellent. Clean friendly life guards. We didn’t have dinner at the hotel but there were sufficient options close by. Lovely waking up every morning with the waves lapping the beach.

A beautiful hotel on the prettiest beach! a pretty hotel with beautiful rooms and lovely sea views. Very clean and Nice. Pretty balconies. The staff vas very Nice and helpful and the food really good. Loved the beach and that the beach bar was right next to it. Would absolutely Go back.

For the seasonal traveler, one will not find much wrong but for the avid luxury, yet cost-conscious traveler, and Italy aficionado..… there is room for improvement. The hotel has clean decent rooms but suffers from its remote location. You will be happy if you like a quiet remote location in the middle of a beautiful nature with nothing 15mn away. It is 1:45mn away from Olbi airport and 45mn away from Algheri airport. No shops, no stores, not much entertainment on the premises (jet ski, games, kids club, diverse restaurant menus and bar...) and if you enquire about the surroundings, you may not get much information. The expensive room rates do not justify the too basic room cosmetic amenities (is there no young regional person making natural local cosmetics the hotel could promote so customers could discover and maybe sponsor?), the bathroom toilet bin lid was malfunctioning and never replaced, the shower head orientation made it impossible not to soak the entire bathroom shelves and floor not matter where it was positioned, the hotel lacked concierge services and the reception staff was inexperienced in terms of checkin (unable to multitask and asking several times the same questions to clients during a single consult which would take at least 10 mn per customer for basic requests like the checkin, a taxi reservation, a restaurant or beach recommandation… ( this is unacceptable during daytime or high traffic times). The staff (3 people at the desk) had extremely limited knowledge of local restaurants, beach local activities, shuttle and bus routes and schedules… the gift shop is very limited considering how remote the place is. And again forget local souvenirs…

Dei Pini Room No 208 A small double which was dark and dated. Small desk is poor quality Wifi: Is available, and free in rooms Air con is available at 5 euros per night Tea and coffee available in room? ;No Bed; Not very comfortable. The bed frame is a camp bed type “put me up!” Towels: OK Robes: No Location: Good. Less than 10mins stroll to centre Bathroom: Poor. Toilet was broken! Shower doors did not close properly. The shower head was too big for the water pressure! Breakfast:Below par. Buffet service with very limited choices. As we were with a group we had set evening meals which were poor. Chicken with few cold chips Pork with green beans Comments: Overall the hotel is clean but dated and in need of some attention, Breakfast and evening meals were poor. It is well located, however, I would struggle to recommend.

We visited Hotel del Pini beginning of June 2024 with my husband and 2.5 year old daughter. The hotel exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend the superior sea view room for anyone traveling with a toddler! Pros: + Location!! Hotel is perfectly situated 15-20m outside of Alghero, close to many restaurants and close to travel to nearby sights and wineries + So easy for families - We had room number 5 (Superior sea view) and it could not be more perfect. Steps away from the beach and convenience of the entire hotel. + Beautiful, breathtaking views through out the hotel, the lobby, breakfast area, pool, our room.. amazing + every single staff member was absolutely lovely, kind and hospitable + the hotel was extremely clean, every detail taken care of + the lifeguards/beach staff took great care of the beach which was cleaned everyday and kept tidy - we were especially grateful for the beach toys available for kids on the beach + there was a little playground for kids which our daughter enjoyed + breakfast was local and delicious (great assortment of freshly baked pastries), barista available to make coffee Cons: Really can’t complain I think it’s a superb hotel for 4 stars. If I really had to be picky: - I wish the beds/linens were a bit more comfortable but can’t complain - the prices of the hotel bar and restaurant are a bit steep (€11 for an Aperol Sprits upstairs, €9 at the beach bar) Since this was early June it was still before the high season, hope the hotel keeps this quality through out.
