Might look scary to the average American women at first but a great place to stay and lots of nice restaurants around

The hotel is actually really quiet - no windows helps- like an old office building turned hotel. We stayed mid week not on a weekend. No elevator - (Not a problem for us) beds are Costa Rican hard (normal Everywhere you go unless your paying for luxury) AC works - not ice cold but better than a Fan! Restaurants are walking distance and good. We would definitely stay again when we’re flying out!! They let us park right in front of the hotel.

I generally trust reviews from others for hotel selections and was looking for a last-minute one-night stay for 2, close to the airport. Mid-range pricing. IMO other reviews and photos offer an Incorrect description of this property! We forfeited our entire cost of reservation and did NOT stay after the scary experience we encountered. Horrible location old decrepit property on a busy street in a very high crime area, Dirty throughout, and poor/no maintenance. NO staff around at the afternoon check-in, bad rude attitude when we did find someone, the room was dirty and very dated decor, cheap looking bed 2" mattress, and the minimal bedding rumpled and unclean, didn't feel safe entering blacked-out hallways upstairs to access the room, NO AC as advertised, did offer a fan? No parking. No hot water. Thanks to an unhappy guest who confirmed without any solicitation from us, as we were weighing our options, he whispered to us "This hotel is a very bad place". I concur with his assessment.

The place was very clean and the hosts very friendly and helpful. For the price it was about as expected. The neighborhood is very busy, but being near the airport was good. I would probably stay here again if I was by myself.

We arrived and the hotel did not room for us, even when i already booked and paid for that. Since it was too late (the flight arrive late) i was not able to find another hotel. Finally i found one at 2am paying a rate that not make sense but i have two kids and i needed a solution. I am totally frustrated. At least i expect that ******* return my money soon.

This was perfect for my basic needs of an overnight stay. Simple and friendly check in, comfy bed, good WiFi, and nice breakfast.

I had no idea what to expect of this property or area. When I arrived, the staff was friendly and helpful but there was no food services at the hotel. Breakfast was a 4-5 blocks away at another hotel. The bed was comfortable but there was no fan.

Modest but clean, the reception was extremely kind and helpful.
