Ulasan Sofitel Al Khobar the Corniche

I don’t mind paying for another day if I arrive early but I couldn’t understand why they lied to me. I came to the hotel at 3:30 in the morning of the day I booked for check-in. I was told to pay in full and didn’t get a breakfast. The guy at the front desk said I should come downstairs to check in again at 12:00 for another room because they didn’t have the type of none smoking room I booked. It was all fine. You didn’t allow me spend several hours in the sofa in the lobby “because we are are five star hotel!”(although during the coming several days I have seen people including myself and my colleagues staying in the sofas all the time without paying for any coffee or snacks). The pain I had is they told me to wait until 3pm for changing rooms. I called the front desk several times and in the end called back to China to talk to Ctrip. The guy who changed me full day for less than 7 hours stay has seen my Ctrip booking in my cellphone. The lady at front counter told me they didn’t know I had another booking! Don’t understand what system they were using to manage the hotel. Eventually I carried my luggage out to lunch and then got my other room at 1:30pm. Regarding hardware I want to complain about the bench in front of the bed. It was a hard and heavy thing that would break your knees if you hit it during the night if you go t bathroom or come back for sleep. Couldn’t understand why in such a small room they want to squeeze everything in. The lattice for salad in breakfast had sands. Maybe I was unlucky? Anyway as a guy who stays in five stars all the time I would not come back to this hotel in the future.

We had a good experience with my friends. Food was so great and service by all the crew was superb specially Mr. Jason. The band was also great. We will definitely going back again at Sofitel to experience again the great service they were offering.

The hotel is amazing with excellent services being provided right from the reservations to the room service. The hotel is amazing, the breakfast buffet is very lavish. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and the beach view is breathtakingly beautiful but most importantly the staff is most hospitable. Right from Shivly at morning breakfast to Hussain who did my room. We sat way beyond the breakfast time but Shivly honored us with a smile inspite of the hectic schedule. Hussain is very sweet and inspite of telling him that I would not need room service, he made sure I had water bottles and other amenities. Although I could only register 2 names, it must be understood by the management that every one was very kind and generous!! Weldone team!!!

Excellent service by the staff. Prompt and friendly service by Shabeer the concierge and Ani(Anirudh) Happy with the services and facilities. The sea view rooms are excellent. Food is also excellent, the buffet is one of the best in the place. Would highly recommend

Excellent experience ! The team is very friendly . Hani the room attendant was very helpful and friendly . The food is great . The room is super clean . The location is great next to restaurants and the seaside walk . I recommend the hotel highly .
