Dear sir / madam I had the delightful misfortune of choosing your esteemed property for my transit stay from Ahmedabad. I booked three rooms for an overnight stay on 24 th December . Due to a flight delays from Pune and Delhi , our family checked in late. Two rooms were allocated near each other, while the third was given way across a section under renovation, presumably because garden view rooms were as mythical as unicorns that day. Clearly, it was assumed we would be utterly heartbroken without those non-existent garden views—how utterly presumptuous of us to think otherwise! Clearly grooming is not something the front desk staff is aware about ! Upon my arrival at 7:30, I had to sort out the room situation myself, because why should customer service be part of the service? My parents and children had arrived earlier and were no doubt thrilled by the arrangement. We then ventured to the multi-cuisine restaurant for dinner. Despite ordering a traditional Gujarati thali and the simplest of dishes, khichdi and kadhi, we were treated to a 40-minute wait. The food quality was nothing short of appalling; the dhokla could have doubled as a dish scrubber . Who knew one could get better dhokla in Pune? I am genuinely astonished and wonder why I chose to stay at your property. Alas, seeing is indeed believing, and this is an experience I would love to erase from my memory. Oh, and when I requested to see the restaurant manager—given it was a reasonable hour of 8 PM—I was informed that he had already gone home. The staff member dutifully repeated, "I totally understand," like a well-rehearsed line from a comedy play. Thank you for this unforgettable experience. I look forward to never repeating it.
