The Olivar Suites

Amazing location, great staff with excellent hospitality. Only thing that needs a solution is the pub next to the hotel with very loud music until late night. Special thanks to Alexandra, who has been very helpful during our stay!

We returned this year with my 88 and 89 yr old in laws who are pretty spritely for their age and love a great hotel. We knew we would be looked after and we were. The rooms are still fabulous and the private pools a must. So lovely. Housekeeping etc was top notch. Nothing is too much trouble. We were a little away from the beach and restaurant area but we simply called the golf buggy for a pick up or drop off for the oldies and once we got into that it worked well. The staff are amazing and remembered us as we did them from last year. The front desk and people around them were a credit to the hotel. It was nice that they were all so complimentary about the owners and how they treat the staff. You could tell. That type of treatment always filters down and out to the guests. I tried the spa this year and was not disappointed. Just lovely and a fabulous lady Amelia gave me a great massage. The spa with the olive tree in the middle was stunning just like the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was elegant and softly sophisticated just like the rest of the hotel. During the day the staff work to keep it spotless. This hotel is on a olive grove on the middle of a little village a great supermarket and some sweet shops are around it and easy to wander to. The deli/ bakery was our go to for a bite of lunch every day. Again the staff were so welcoming . The local restaurants were amazing by the waterside and Bacchus was just lovely. All family run We came home recharged and refreshed. You will not be disappointed if you go.

We spent a week at The Olivar Suites and it was an exquisite experience. The stylish rooms, the expansive and clean beach, and the excellent food made our stay truly memorable. The entire staff was friendly and ready to assist at the slightest hint. The beach, bar, and restaurant staff were exceptional. The hotel is quiet, perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

As previous reviewers have stated, this place is just amazing. Here are a few things I'd like to point out: - A room with its own pool is a luxurious experience. We spent most of our time at our own pool instead of the general pool. - The room has a high-quality Marshall Bluetooth speaker. - The shower was great and had excellent water pressure. - The bed was hard and suited us perfectly, as we prefer a firm mattress rather than a soft one. - There was live music every day, either at the hotel beach bar or the nearby Summertime bar. - The nearby supermarkets (3-5 minute walk away) have the best assortment we've encountered in tourist areas. - The beach has a smooth sand bottom; only the first few meters are rocky. - There's a bidet in the bathroom, which was a great surprise as I believe it's not common in Greece. - The gym is very small but reasonably equipped. If there are more than 4 people, it's too crowded. - Cash is preferred in the nearby bars and tavernas. There are several ATMs in the area. - All the nearby tavernas are amazing, but please make sure to also visit 75 Steps restaurant. It is a bit further away but mind-blowing (5 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes on foot).

The Olivar Suites are a stunning set of architectural buildings with beautiful olive trees and shrubs scattered throughout. The place is breathtaking. We arrived late evening and was driven to our Junior suite in the golf cart..upon arrival we could hear loud music from an adjoining bar and so we declined this suite as we wanted peace and quiet especially at night. The management were most helpful in finding us other accommodation especially as we were staying 11 nights. They moved us into a Riviera Suite with beautiful sea views..we felt so lucky to be offered this and it made our anniversary stay even more special. We will never forget the stunning view from this suite (415). In busier times maybe not so easy to relocate. Food quality is second to none in the Flya restaurant..our only criticism the menu is very limited and somewhat fancy and bit repetative after 11 nights.. pity they don't change it weekly. The staff are always helpful polite and welcoming. The area surrounding the hotel is nothing special and kind of lets down the high quality of The Olivar Suites. Taxi to Corfu town 55 euros each way..local air conditioned coach 4 euros 20 each way for 2 adults takes 40 minutes..boat trip to corfu 25 euros each. Fantastic supermarket sells absolutely everything..great café called Delicious and aptly named for snacks lunch dinner etc. The parasols all have a button to request drinks or food and this is another lovely feature of this hotel. It makes you feel very spoiled. Came home feeling very relaxed .

Went on a spontanious vacation with my wife, listed her to a massage with aegeo SPA in the oliver suites hotel. The atmosphere in the place is very pleasant. And Mariana staff member was professionall, pleasant and most welcoming. Took a deep tissue massage and fave masssage

Our 5th visit and as ever outstanding - what makes it outstanding are the staff who go above and beyond to make your holiday a happy memory. From the cleanliness, the exceptional staff, the rooms (from the basic to the top level) the breakfasts, the sunbeds and towels - my advice GO and enjoy . 5 star earned

This hotel is utterly beautiful. The styling and landscaping is 5* and the service is impeccable. One flag however is to make sure you ask for a quiet room - there are around 5/6 rooms that back onto an outdoor bar/club and you can hear the music both on your outdoor terrace and in your bedroom. After raising it with concierge they did then move us straight away but if you’re only there for a few nights it would have a huge impact. The resort as a whole though is stunning and would highly recommend

Olivar suites is a lovely hotel, very clean and quiet with very attentive and pleasant staff throughout our weeks’ stay. The red/green light system for ‘clean our room’ or ‘don’t clean our room’ is pretty much redundant as cleaning staff would either knock on our door or ask us when we were leaving the room if it was ok to clean room on a daily basis as if they are on a room rate or something? I don’t know but this became rather annoying. €70 euros charge as soon as we entered hotel! Room tax @ €10 per night, Wasn't made aware of this when Booking with TUI, and no mention until we arrived at the Hotel, so That was a Big hit on our spending money straight away! We paid for a ‘package’ holiday, which by definition means everything surely?! Basin plug doesn’t work, had to ask them for plastic bowl to shave. When I showed Staff the Picture of Basin Plug, they told me that all the Rooms don't have a Fully functioning Plug in the Basins to avoid Flooding, The fact that the Basins DON'T have an Overflow Hole is THE Reason that they have had to disable the Sealing Function! What a Waste of Money AND a Big Inconvenience for anyone who Wet Shaves OR Needs to fill the basin for anything! Like washing Clothes for example, and Nothing is provided to either Wash OR Dry any item of Clothing, had to use clothes hangers and hang from wall and glass railing. ..BUT they DO give you a Price list of the Washing/Drying/Ironing Service they provide!...26 eoros to wash dry & Iron a T-Shirt!!! You Have GOT to be joking! A Door handle/knob had broken off in toilet so very slippery to open from the inside, reported first day but never repaired. ‘Cleaned’ white bed linen always has stain marks on it like it hasn’t been washed properly. Mini bar is packed full of small bottles which we did not use due to the High prices. There is nowhere to place your own bottled water or beers. So first thing to do is remove all their vastly overpriced items and stack on the table ready for replacement when departures day arrives. Bar prices at the Beach front bar are EXPENSIVE! We only had one drink each here on our first night, 1 bottle of standard lager, and 1 wine & lemonade spritzer €35!.. when I questioned the price at the bar and told them we were actually residents of the hotel and hadn’t just walked in from the beach! Anyway, as I handed him €40 he came back from the till with €28 change and said, sorry, he had got our order mixed up with someone else. I am only including these details in case other residents have had the same experience and maybe it isn’t just an honest mistake, you just never know these days. But even at €22 for a Beer and wine spritzer is FAR too expensive for Messonghi or anywhere really, which was corroborated when we paid for the drinks and walked just a few yards down the road to the Barino Bar where Achilles served us identical drinks coming to a grand total of €8.50! The going rate for similar drinks was €10 in other bars. It seems the owners of
