Century Resort

We had a clean, spacious apartment with an amazing sea view. The apartments are well spread out amongst verdant well maintained grounds on a hillside, so some steep slopes/steps to negotiate. Our "superior" apartment, described as self-catering, had no cooking or food preparation facilities. A kettle, 2 cups, 2 glasses, and a fridge were all the kitchenette offered. The location is tranquil within a short walk from many amenities and beach. There was plenty of choice from the breakfast buffet and a convenient pool bar. Overall, though, it was a lovely resort.

Century Resort is a fairly basic hotel, and during our stay, it wasn’t very busy. The breakfast was adequate, but I would rate it more as an upper 3-star than a 4-star hotel. Our arrival at 9:30 pm was met with a rather impersonal greeting; we were simply handed the keys and given brief directions to our apartment. If you're looking for a hassle-free, basic stay in Corfu and don’t plan on traveling to the city much, this hotel could be a good option. Just keep in mind that Corfu Town and the airport are about 90 minutes away.

Century Resort is nice but we were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel accommodation was nothing like the one advertised on the Tui website. Whilst we appreciate that images on a website is an illustrative guide, they should still be realistic of the standard we can expect. The room on the Tui website looked nothing like the one we were allocated. This is room 703 which looked like a former storage utility room with metal railings converted into a bedroom - as you can see in the pictures. I think if we had been given a room that looked like the picture on the website then we would've given higher marks. Pros: - The bed was comfortable. - People at the resort are friendly - especially our cleaner with the reddish hair. - The resort is family friendly and really good for kids. - The service is efficient. Cons: - We stayed room 703 which looked nothing like the one advertised on Tui website. It was more like a former storage room with metal railings and we had paid for 10 days! We would never had booked this room if I had seen the real pictures. - The garden view faces the car park driveway. - I had ordered a chicken meal for lunch at the resort and found pork. I can eat pork but some people do not. - Dirty cups in the bedroom weren't replaced. We used handwash to rinse it ourselves. We were very disappointed with our room, but otherwise, location was very good, pool was good, staff was polite, and great for families. Our satisfaction rating would've been higher if it wasn't for the room.

If you want a friendly atmosphere, good hosts and good food, you can't go wrong here. My family spent a vacation in this hotel for 10 days and everything was perfect. The hotel is older, but everything else is much more important than that. The rooms are large and very, very clean. The breakfast is perfect, everything is of high quality, cheeses, eggs, fruits, juices, cakes,... The kitchen is open until 4:30 p.m., so you can order a delicious lunch in large portions at prices cheaper than a restaurant. The pool is very clean. Here you can get a drink served by the best bartender Janis. The most beautiful beaches are not far away, good restaurants and markets are near the hotel. Big greetings to the friendly staff of the hotel and the manager Boris who is always there to help you

Resort: 7 - Resort is beautiful located in a small town near lots of restaurants and close to the beach. Is is well maintained but unfortunately it is a bit outdated. Staff: 10 - very friendly staff. Always a smile and ready to help in any way. Breakfast: 5 - Not much variety and the coffee is awful. Really disappointing. Snacks: 8 - great snack at the pool. Portions are huge and taste amazing. Pool: 7 - okay-isch, must be the hot summer but the water temp is a bit to high so not much cooling. Accommodation: 4 - talking about outdated. Shower could get a serious upgrade. Airconditioning is from 1950, it works but makes a hell of a noise and could barely cool the room. The beds were just awful. Could feel the springs pushing through which did not help getting a good’s night sleep. Only positive were the amazing view and the cleaning lady who kept it as clean as possible. So, overall I would give it a small 6. The accommodation and breakfast killed it for us.

Fantastic stay, ideal location great staff so friendly. Pool area was great never short on a sunbed and nice and chilled with great pool snacks from the bar with cocktail happy hour. We had a lovely relaxing time so much so we have rebooked for next year. Only downside was hill to rooms but hey keeps you fit.
