Ulasan Aberdeen House

Room: was extremely small and no ventilation whatsoever. With movement restrictions all around and packed end to end. I was almost scared to hear no windows in room but had no option due to short stay. None of the 3-pin sockets in room were working. No way to charge mobile phone. I managed to charge outside in mall rather than complaining. Shelves next to TV wall mounted was hanging in air with couple of screws which were not in holes properly and was posing a dropped object hazard and I was concerned about my own safety if it would fall on me while I am sleep. Reported and owner removed this with some argument saying I leaned over it to gain access to tv 3- point socket to charge my phone. This is clearly not the case as shelf was wooden and was resting over couple of screws half inserted in lower base but no fixtures whatsoever on the top to hold the frame. Everyone’s needs and priorities are different but for me personally it was a mistake having booked this hotel as I have stayed in multiple hotel chains in Aberdeen and UK and care and hospitality here was very different and was fully missing. Obviously, I asked the shelf storage to be removed due to worry around fall over but this came at the cost of no kettle , no cups and hence no tea ,coffee making and no hot water possibility for me 😃 during my stay.

It was a wonderful experience.. will always check in whenever I’m in aberdeen

I booked a single room based on the few photos available on ******* but the room I got was not shown on *******. I stayed in something the size of a store room with no windows. I didn't specifically choose this room, but I feel if a room has no windows, it should be flagged in the booking. The room was literally the size of a single bed. Opening the door the room would fill half the room. It got incredibly hot during the night because of lack of ventilation, I had to prop the door open to let air from the hallway in. I can't imagine anyone staying in the room in summer, be warned. I don't think this should be a room, and it definitely shouldn't have been £45 a night. I feel taken advantage of. The only positive is that it was clean and well kept, else I would've left.

Nice and close to Aberdeen city centre and Airport bus just across the street Comfortable, clean room but my radiator wasn’t working.

Recently refurbished room, fresh paint etc, new fittings and fixtures including sockets by the bed. Bathroom needs a towel rail or hooks. Room could do with hooks too. Very convenient for the railway station, bus station and city centre shopping areas. Ideal for a one night stopover.

A warm welcome and a hot shower during Storm Gerritt. Basic, and mostly clean, just what was needed.

Only a small room for 1 night, but there wasn't a cup to make a drink - luckily I had one. Also the TV had a weak signal so that didn't work well.

I liked the relaxed welcome, shown efficiently to our room, The room was well presented, Immaculately clean, with lots of space for luggage, The bathroom was again immaculate, with lots of space. The bed was Super comphy, Clean and well made.

Having to find something short notice due to husband in hospital it was ok. I booked a single room which was tiny but had everything except a window? Was a little clostraphobic but did and no where to plug in the kettle except the floor. Was right on a bus stop with direct buses to the hospital so that was good as I don’t know Aberdeen. Have booked another night but this time booked a double so hopefully it will have a window this time..

Hotel hard to find. Door locked until 1500 for check-in. No elevator and lots of stairs. Heat in bldg turned off after 9am then on from 4pm till bed time and turned off again at about 6am til 9.. No heat in bath and little circulation from bedroom. Stayed 2 nights because I prepaid with no reimbursement allowed. Moved to a near hotel. Would only stay again if no other options.

The room was small but had everything you needed , comfy bed, tv, wifi, hot water
