It’s a stopover hotel for us in Abashiri. Our next destination was Shiretoko Nature Cruise. The rooms are comfortable. Ample parking space.

The location is convenient, quite close to the train station. One thing to note is that you need to be careful which room type you book — only the Western-style rooms come with a private bath and toilet. Luckily, after reading reviews from other travelers, we were able to change our room at check-in. One downside was a misunderstanding about the check-out time. We thought it was 12pm, but when we returned the staff had already opened our room door as check-out was earlier. That was a first for us, and luckily nothing was taken — but something to be mindful of when staying here.

Nice location and on a walkable distance to the center or 7/11. Personnel are friendly. In the room itself was no toilet and shower. Toilet is outside the room and the shower is in the public onsen. There is a coinlaundry and vending machines. Parking is available next to the hotel. The smell of the room was not nice.

Nice staff, old building, acceptable hygiene The biggest problem is no toilet inside the room. I did not find this in description, and I was blamed by my wife because of no private toilet. Some smell in the room, and the pillow may be the poorest issue, too small and thin. I cannot sleep very well

The hotel is quite old but clean. There is a public bath in the hotel. The hotel has a large and free parking lot.

The hotel met all the basic needs for a comfortable overnight stay. The room was clean, dinner and breakfast were included and decent, and free parking was a great plus. Staff were polite and check-in was smooth. Nothing fancy, but convenient and reliable for a short stop. Would consider staying again for a quick stay.

Nice simple hotel just 5 min walk from Abashiri JR station. Hotel has boss Standard and Japanese rooms. Clean and well-arranged. Didn’t have breakfast options.

Old hotel but in great clean , stay at tatami room without bathroom , so has to use public bath and toilet , the best part is package with their dinner , it's so delicious

The location is convenient, halfway between the main train station and most of the eateries and bus stops, which are in the main town area. As for the hotel, it’s true Japanese style with no private showers, instead a Japanese-style public bath is on offer. My room was tatami-floored and had the futon prepared for me. The room was just a space with 4 walls, window, TV, small fridge and table. There’s no private toilet, you have to walk out to the hallway to use it, so you have to lock your room door and bring the key with you. Something worth noting is that there are only two power outlets in the room. It’s fine for a one night stay and if you’re looking off a more Japanese experience, this is an alright option.
