Quite remote from the Duomo and the train station but within walking distance from metro. Very clean and the cabin with curtain provides you with privacy. But no stable hot water and the shower cubicle was quite small. The reception and entrance was situated at the basement so have to walk the stairs. I was carrying a heavy suitcase and asked if I can use the G/F exit to spare myself from the heavy lifting. But the staff said no.
The hostel staff is very friendly and attentive at all times, very clean areas and a great atmosphere in the lobby every afternoon, where you can have a drink, read a book, or share and meet others. It's a bit far from the centre of Milan but you have the benefit of the Bovisa metro station a couple of blocks away.
Highly recommended and of course I will be back on my next trip to Milan which will be very soon.
The place is clean and tidy. The people there are friendly. The reception closed at 7.30 pm. So not sure if customer arrives after that time. Need a bit of walking to the location and the pavement is not even. So it is difficulty if roller is used.
Generally good experience.
First of all, I want to praise the two cute girls at the front desk. They used translation software to teach me how to use the door card and sent me to the door of the room. The facilities are very new. The surrounding area is still under construction. There are train and bus stations, but the distance to the station is 400 meters. The breakfast service is also good. There is a small bar and a small refrigerator. The sanitation is very clean every day. Check-out is smooth. Good comments

A fantastic hostel! They offer 24-hour check-in service, and even though I arrived in the middle of the night, the staff warmly welcomed me, showed me around the facilities, and even offered me a welcome drink! The next day, I could store my luggage for free, and the staff kindly made me an espresso to start my morning.
At noon, I had a small issue—my sandwich in the shared fridge was accidentally taken by someone. I tell this to the front desk, and coincidentally, the owner was there. She was incredibly thoughtful and even offered to have the kitchen make me a toast! Amazing customer service and problem-solving mindset!
Next time I visit Milan, I’ll stay at Ostello Bello - Milano Duomo again.
The reception is open 24 hours a day, so I was able to check in even though I arrived early. I was also grateful that they let me charge my phone after checking out of the room and let me use the shared space.
The Duomo is within walking distance, but it's dark at night and it's scary to walk alone, so I think it's best to be careful.
I asked for water in a plastic bottle, and they kindly did.
There were several supermarkets nearby, so I was able to buy souvenirs there.
Except that the address is far from the city center, everything else is good. There is a station nearby than you take a bus or tram, but the bus schedule at night is not close.
A very calm and welcoming place. The hostel is in Menaggio, a village on the Lake. You can only get there by boat or bus, so it's a good idea to plan ahead, the boat cost €14.

I had an amazing stay at Ostello Bello Grande! The location is unbeatable — just a few steps from Milano Centrale train station, making it perfect for early trains, late arrivals, or exploring the city. The hostel is safe, clean, and well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home.
The staff are friendly, helpful, and always ready to give great tips about Milan. The communal areas are cozy and lively, perfect for meeting other travelers. I loved the little extras they offer — from free pasta in the kitchen to social activities that make connecting with people easy.
The value for money is fantastic considering the location and amenities. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, this is the ideal place to stay in Milan. I can honestly say it was a 10/10 experience, and I would definitely come back!

Yyour fellow wandererThe hostel felt safe and clean! They've got plenty of activities that I unfortunately didn't get a chance to participate in as I was only in Milan for 2 days. They also gave a complimentary drink ticket to use at the bar. It is about a half an hour walk from the city center, but the area felt quite safe. It's also only a 5 minute walk from the metro station, making it very accessible.
GGuest UserEverything is awesome. Cheapest hostel I've stayed in Europe but one of the best. The only downside is that it's not located in the city center. Could've stayed for a few more night if it weren't for planned itinerary.
CCarolinaSousaTHE BEST of all the hostels I stayed so far. I am super happy with all the staffs at the reception and the bar, special thanks to Joana, and 3 other young men who helped me with the check in and check out, and throughout all my 5 days stay.
I was very happy and surprised by all the free toiletries, amenities, coffee, juice, water, snacks, bread and cakes, and I love how in the reading/game room there’s a piano, guitars, ukulele, TV with Nintendo switch, books, games, etc.. I also love the fact that we can rent the powerbanks and wireless internet with our ID document. There were also very nice events going on, e.g. beer pong, family dinner, and more.
I have just a few suggestions: it would be a lot better if the bed side stand be a little bigger so that we can put a little more things other than our phone, also if the room could have some hooks on the wall for us to hang our jackets and towels.
Thank you so much for such a lovely and wonderful stay. I also met a lot of amazing people. I would definitely come back in no time❤️

AAnonymous UserThis hostel is close to the metro station within walking distance. Just two stops from the metro to the Duomo cathedral. I stayed in a double room. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't perfect either. It can be said to be good for its price and performance. The location is really good, easy to reach. Cleanliness is at average standards.
GGuest Usergood experience there but some how not cleaniess bedsheets and blankets services are very good staff good train station and bus station is near by 10min walk to city center
