Very satisfied with the YHA Youth Hostel! Facilities: very clean and easy to use. There is a sink in our room, and it is very comfortable to wash your face with hot water. The bathroom and shower room are very close, clean and easy to use. There are two kitchens, both are very large, very clean and very convenient! Hygiene: very clean, very satisfied Environment: right by the lake, very convenient for viewing. We lived in the attic on the fourth floor, and when we woke up in the morning, we found the morning mist in the lake, which was very beautiful Service: very good, very satisfied

Fantastic little Inn. Stayed for one night between Lake District activities at honister and buttermere. Around a 30 minute drive from both. Across the road from bassenthwaite lake which was perfect to cool down in after an active day. We stayed in room 25 which was delightful! Perfect for a family of four. Lovely little communal garden with a picnic bench. Easy parking. Staff lovely, and food was great! Will definitely return!

Really enjoyed my stay in Room 5 of this inn. There was ample parking for guests. The room was cosy and clean. I especially loved the breakfast menu at this inn. Every night, you can fill up a form with your selection and in the morning, you just walk up to your assigned table and breakfast is served!

The room was freezing! The heating only came on for a couple of hours. The room was ok comfy bedding, not worth £175 though. The shower made a squealing noise and the bath tap dripped all night. Breakfast alright (beans were cold). The staff at the bar and restaurant were commendable.

The hotel is newly renovated, the parking lot is not far away, the room is clean and tidy, there are a lot of teas and the two biscuits are delicious, the town is peaceful, the environment is quiet, the sleep is very comfortable, the landlord is also very good, staying one more day is only 50 pounds, it is worth recommending

Great location, will definitely come again for a hule trip. Had to keep the window open as the carpet was a bit smelly, it could definutely use a cleanup. But ocerall a pleasant stay !

Nice and peaceful stay at the hotel. The facilities were clean and the bed was very comfy The only downside was the cleaner tried to enter my room in the morning without knocking

A bit remote from the Hawkshead bus station(25 minutes walk), enjoyed the view on the way though. Limited sockets in the room. Great kitchen and dining room. Helpful and warm staff.
