I recently stayed at Kunlun Youth Hostel at the Huangshan scenic spot, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! This hostel has been running for many years, and you can truly feel the warmth and care they put into every detail. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming—it really feels like a home away from home. One of the highlights of my stay was the daily Huangshan climbing guide session at 8:00 PM. The staff provides incredibly helpful tips and strategies for tackling the trails, making the entire hiking experience much smoother and more enjoyable. What impressed me the most was that the session is offered in both Chinese and English, so international travelers don’t have to worry about language barriers at all! If you’re planning a trip to Huangshan, I can’t recommend Kunlun Youth Hostel enough. It’s the perfect place to stay for a comfortable, friendly, and well-informed adventure. Don’t miss it!

Architecture old house building with splendid atmosphere hostel in a heritage town. The boss is quite approachable. He put my washing out under the sunlight while I was in the downtown~how sweet. They cater lunch and dinner with a cost. I enjoyed the diversity meal time with the share mates and hostel staffs when we shared conversations.

IIgnite_Your_FireFrom the moment I arrived I felt so welcomed! The team are amazing! Kind, caring, helpful, informative! The atmosphere is cool - a place where people want to hang out in the foyer! There is a washer & a dryer! The rooms are awesome! Funky design, clean, soft sheets & bedding - warm as toast! I even had a mountain view room with a balcony! The staff arranged tour cars for me & showed me so much love I felt like a part if the family! I even got to go on a hike with the staff on their day off 🤩😎

TTamuThis hotel was very clean and comfortable. It is nearby to Tangkou (5 minute drive) where you can get the bus to Huangshan. The owner of the hotel was very kind and helpful - she helped me buy all my tickets for Huangshan which as a foreigner I was not able to do myself. Also she dropped me off and picked me up from Tangkou for free. The hotel serves food which is tasty and reasonably priced. I had an excellent stay at this hotel and would recommend it to both local and foreign tourists!
