A very pleasant visit to kind, simple and peaceful people. I like a lot the location of the homestay, out of the center, up hill, need to move your ass to reach it. The hottest onsen I’ve been haha but also the most comfy as it’s private. I miss Rum already, what a nice dog, same as all the staff. A really worthy stop in Hakone with local people who feel real in an area full of tourism. Thanks a lot for taking care of my bags after my check in, those gestures are the ones that really count!

The hotel does not have any registered staff. It is self-service, but the check-in method needs to have an appointment number. But I didn’t receive any messages. I also left a message on the official website before departure. But I didn’t receive any reply. I didn’t care about arriving at the hotel. I got 20 minutes in front of the self-service machine that night. I couldn't get the room. Finally, I found a local Japanese to help me call the hotel to get the room key. Fortunately, I finally stayed in .

The hotel is very close to the Buddha and another scenic spot. The service and attitude are very good. It is a good choice if you are traveling alone. The only thing I can't accept is the weather in July. Can you change to summer bedding? I really can't enjoy sleeping on fur in the summer. I don't know if other room types will be different. Everything else is acceptable.

Very traditional ryokan where they put your name at the entrance of the building. Small Japanese garden with fish, a nice hot spring, and a big room. Friendly stuff + you can order exceptional unagi dinner, but you need to order it in advance, at least 1 day before the actual dinner. Very close to the subway and city center. I really enjoyed my stay.

What a stunning and prefect house in Togendai! Washing machine, microwave, a huge refrigerator, clothes drying tools are all provided in the room is appreciated. But it’s quite noisy and annoying when ppl walking in the upper room.

The hotel is located in Sengokuhara, Mt. Hakone. Located on a mountain road, the brand sign is not obvious. It is dark and the street lights are weak and you can't even see the hotel's sign! I can’t even see the hotel when I reach my destination via navigation! It took me two trips to find it. The South Building is easier to find, but the North Building is really hard to find. After finding the sign for the North Building, you have to turn into an alley and then up a small slope to find it. Because we stayed for two nights in a row, there was a problem with the hotel's check-in tablet, and the staff spoke Chinese, English, and Japanese. The parking space of the North Building is not in front of the door. We need to take a detour and walk up the mountain. It is dark and there is no car light to pedestrian. They insist on asking us to park the car in this parking lot 15 minutes away. It is too dark and too dangerous. I request We parked in the unloading area for one night and didn't find a parking lot until the next day. We felt that it was dangerous to our safety. Unless it was in broad daylight, there was a lot of noise. For about two hours, the hotel staff did not allow us to park and called twice. Went to the room to find us, the trails they provided were even more impossible to walk at night. The next day we took a day trip, which was also dangerous. After walking for a while, we encountered a deer, which put us in a dilemma. Very angry about the parking issue. Other than that, the hotel room was ideal. Room view is same as photo show, is traditional homestay so didn’t have private toilet. The way to washroom and bathroom will have warmer but after bath will be very cold in winter. Is super nearby to Kailua station and opposite is one of the famous spot, Komachi St.
