I recently stayed at luyao Inn and had a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us with booking local sightseeing and providing great recommendations. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail throughout our stay.

The location is ideal. Its in the middle of the old town and has a stunning view. But what made it for me was the service i received from these lovely people. I think i was the only guest and i could choose my room. They are so helpful with questions and with booking my train ticket. The rooms are cozy and look authentic and matches the vibe of the town. The heater was working properly which i could say in many places i stayed. The fact that they offer a drop-off was the cherry on top. I would definitely come back to them again if i go back

But what’s best about this place are the owners. They are very accommodating, friendly, and extremely helpful. They booked everything for me at good discounts - the Zhangjiajie National Forest, the Tianmen Mountain, and the Fox Fairy Show. They also cooked delicious dinner for us, upon our request, even though they don’t really sell food for their guests. Overall, my experience was great! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I’m very lucky I got to stay here. Will definitely stay here again next time I go back to ZJJ!

What an absolutely incredible place to visit. The staff were amazing, they picked me up from the train station for free and purchased the town entrance tickets at a discounted price. The view from the balcony was fantastic both at day and night time. The staff also helped me book a taxi to my train when leaving and I had left some belongings behind and they ran them to me before the taxi arrived. 5 star service 5 star location. Would highly recommend this the service could not have been better!

Very nice homestay. The host was amazing and very proactive, providing us with a detailed itinerary and a map of Furong Ancient Town. We don’t speak Chinese, but that wasn’t a problem at all because we used an online translator. The place itself is very charming. You are always welcome to drink green tea, which is made by the host from his garden (and the tea is amazing). Our type of room felt a bit cluttered, so if you have a lot of luggage, that might be an issue. The bed was good, with nice linens and comfortable pillows. Breakfast was also very nice, and everything was fresh. Just keep in mind that the hotel is outside of Furong Ancient Town, but it’s situated just a couple of minutes from the main gate.

The location of Meiyi Light was perfect, easy taxi ride from Airport. The main shopping street, Jiefang Rd was just round the corner. There were many restaurants, super markets and shopping malls. We especially liked a restaurant just round the corner (Jiefang Rd.) for meals or just a beer, and have added a photo of this. It was possible to walk to the cable car station straight down Yingbin Rd, about 15 mins from the hotel, but taxis only cost about £1. There were some beautiful views of the City and River on the way. The room was spacious, with a beautiful view of a hilly park. Hotel Staff were exremely nice and helpful.

If there is a 10 stars, I will give this hotel a 10 stars The room is so modern and beautiful. It is very clean and smell very nice. I love absolutely everything about this hotel. The staffs here are super friendly. They helped us plan a route in a national park and they helped us do the laundry as well. Thank you so much. The location is super convenient. It is not far from the entrance to the gate to Zhangjiajie and it is not far from the main restaurant street. Breakfast is very good as well. I definitely will recommend everyone to stay here and will definitely come back to stay here again.

One of the best hotel stays we have ever had in China. Amazing hospitality and the most delicious breakfast everyday. My girlfriend is a picky eater and she devoured their wonton soup. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The bed was very comfy and the view outside of the room was phenomenal. I came to Wulingyuan for all of the amazing hiking and scenery but every morning we wanted to relax in our room because of how cozy it felt. Staff was amazing, and even drove us to get food late in the evening instead of allowing us to call a taxi. He went over the best forest park routes for us and reccomended a great, affordable massage therapist. Ask for therapists #82 & #50. And one of the highlights of our stay that I believe emphasizes the caring nature of the family running the hotel is that the night we arrived, they rescued 2 baby kittens and created a place to shelter them. As animal lovers, we really appreciated that. Cant wait to return!

Fenghuang Ancient Town is a place I have been wanting to visit for a long time. I finally fulfilled my dream during this business trip. Mengqi B&B is located in the core scenic area of ​​Tuojiang Scenic Belt. The B&B has its own exclusive parking lot, and a special car will take you to Hongqiao, which is more convenient than parking in the paid parking lot near the ancient town. The room is newly decorated, stylish, and equipped with daily necessities, which is great! ! Sitting on the balcony hanging chair, all the fatigue of the journey is swept away, and the time is leisurely. It is perfect for people like us who sit in the office for a long time. I have made an appointment with the landlord to bring the children back to cool off during the summer vacation.

Stayed for about a week and it was well worth the price, has a few restaurants around. Nice clean facilities which are modern with big spacious beds and room, only weird part is the first two days they wouldn't clean our room properly ie towels and toilet paper not replaced, bed not made was really really noisy from above the last few nights too but other than that the people were nice and the hotel owners were hind, even letting me do some washing. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice place, close to the east entrance, 5min by walk and close to the bus station ! Lots of place to eat around They explain me the road for the hike and walk in the mountain and even help me to book the ticket ! Highly recommend was a perfect stay !!

This is great a hotel! About 10min walk from the main entrance to the Avatar park. Lady at the desk helped to buy tickets to the park( it was cheaper thru her then official at the park gate. Everything worked. Our passports were the tickets) breakfast is simple, but enough to start the day. Rooms are clean. When checking out we received gifts (snack and red envelope)) There is a laundry room on the top floor which was very very useful! Especially after hours of hiking! Laundry soap for free. Lady at the desk and her husband were very helpful. They even let us take a shower at lobby bathroom even though we checked out. I was very glad that we chose this hotel over others because the friendly kind atmosphere. Very good warm memories forever in my heart. Thank you!!!

The experience of our stay at the hotel was great! The bosses are super helpful on guiding us to the hotel days before our trip and even came and fetch us to the hotel upon arrival. Helped us booked our tickets to ZhangJiaJie National Park. The East Gate is just few minutes walk from the hotel, good location for food too. There’s a night market just right downstairs as well. We ended up extending our stay with them. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re planning to stay at WuLingYuan area.

We had a lovely stay at Furong Town Waterfall Store, the staff were very helpful and accomodating. Perfect location to look at the waterfall and very close to the scenic area. Dinner at their restaurant was excellent with a variety of local foods and such clean facilities, the view from the eating area is amazing. The breakfast was also very good! Would definitely recommend this accomodation to anyone wishing to stay in Furong!!!

I received a call to confirm the itinerary the night before and sent a travel guide in advance. The proprietress was super nice and helped us choose the room type. She also upgraded the room. The room has a small balcony and the night view is very beautiful. The inn is very close to the scenic spot, which is very convenient! I had steaming hot rice noodles for breakfast, and she also called a car to send us to the high-speed rail station! It was a very satisfying experience. I will stay here again next time I come to play!

Clean, helpful and friendly staff. Free drop off at the Furongzhen railway station. Good location, step out of the hotel straight to a row of shops/restaurants. Fantastic view from the room, however because theres a restaurant attached to the hotel can be quite noisy. Need to bring earbuds to sleep. However, for how expensive it is, found it a bit lacking in amenities, no fridge, there is a water filter system for drinking water in the room but it doesnt work. No coffee provided in room, only a paper cup with no spoon.

Nice view from the balcony but is not exactly at the main waterfalls area. Room is nice and clean and bed is comfortable. Hotel staff is friendly to help us to purchase entrance ticket and share what's around the area. Hotel provided 1 way free pick up from train station but will need to pay for the return but I think is fine. They will help to arrange for carpooling. The road is uneven so will take some time to drag the luggages from entrance to hotel. There is no lift in the town, so we need to carry our luggage 2 flight of steps downward (no choice). Hotel staff also willing to help carry. Overall a great stay even is 1 night only. Will recommend to stay in this hotel.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious, quiet and comfy with nice view of the town. The impeccable and responsive service is unmatchable! The breakfast was adequate and the home cooked noodles were delicious. We would stay here again next time.

We had a big room with a very big bed. The bathroom was big with a self-flushing toilet and toilet seat warmer! One wall of the room was just glass so we had a good view out, over some old roofs and windows, and a far view of lovely builidings on a hill. We had a long and narrow balcony with a view of the river, pagoda and bridges. Right below was the bustling street scene near the Hong Qiaio (Rainbow Bridge). The balcony has a couple of hanging bubble seats and even a small table and chairs. Just perfect for viewing the amazing night scenery and people-watch. (Based on an earlier review, we knew the noise stopped at 11.30pm so we had good nights' sleep). We were very comfortable and happy with our room. It was just a short walk from the shops outside the Ancient Town, so we could enjoy both sides of Feng Huang. The entrance to the hostel is hidden behind a costume rental shop, so it's a little tricky to find. The hostel also has a water dispenser for filling up water bottles. All I can say is the location is just the best for watching the comings and goings in the streets, with easy access for walking along the riverside, pagoda, bridges, viewing the performances on the river...yet near enough to pop into our comfy room to recharge.

The boss is very nice. The hotel is in a great location, inside the ancient city, next to the parking lot. The room is very clean. It takes only a few minutes to get to the river. It is very convenient to go anywhere. I will stay here again next time. I highly recommend it~

The stay was so beautiful & homey! We were picked up from the train station for free and the driver helped us with the baggages as soon as he saw us. Upon arriving, the lady owner and aunties also helped us carried all our big luggages happily. In the morning the owners & aunties greeted us & served us breakfast, making us feel very at home. Great location as its walking distance and the center of all the popular spots to visit in Fenghuang. The owner also help arranged ride back to railway station, thou the fee was more than Didi, we still chose their transport as it was much more convenient and definitely a more safer drive. Overall i recommend the stay to anyone visiting Fenghuang. Thank you for the owners and aunties for the great hospitality. We had a very comfortable & memorable stay!

I went there alone and booked a room on short notice. It was close to the downstream and the balcony had a river view. The price was favorable, so I booked it immediately. The store owner was also very friendly and picked me up at the intersection. The room was clean and beautiful. Highly recommended.

We liked the decor of the hotel. The location is very central, right on the river and surrounded by many restaurants and shops. We had a room with a balcony and were able to watch the dragon boat training during the day. Our room was spacious and had everything you needed. Everywhere was very clean. The hotel staff helped us organize excursions. When we left, a member of staff accompanied us in the car. We had a very nice chat. We had a pleasant stay and felt welcome. Overall it was a good stay. It is located at the end river section, so you can still see the lighting up at night but not as much as the middle section. The room was clean but the cushions on the chairs (balcony) were stained. Would suggest to not put cushions and just have Rattan chairs. The room is located at the fourth floor so we had to carry our suitcases up. We read the reviews prior booking so we kind of expected it too and didn't come as a shock. The staffs were very kind and help us to carry the suitcases together. We had an early day next day and the kitchen staffs served us our breakfast prior to the official breakfast start time.
