Staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help you. The location is slightly difficult to find (you’ll need to walk through a random building hallway in order to find the hotel entrance). If you message the hotel in advance they will come out and help lead the way. Convenient location for restaurants and beautifully designed garden.

Alex was amazing we hadn’t done much research about getting to and around the yellow mountains but he helped us with everything giving us a detailed route on a map and confirming prices etc he organised a shared taxi to take us in the morning at a very reasonable price. Alex speaks very good English. There is a small restaurant attached to the hotel run by Alex and his wife and the food was lovely. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

100% recommend. We stayed one night here before the ascend and another night’s stay at the mountain top hotel. The staff gave us a very warm welcome and everything is so smooth. We deposit our luggage at the hotel. They sent us to the bus station which brings us to the cable car station, and also back from the bus station to the hotel. A nice walk along the street to many eating places. Only feedback is the design of the toilet and shower area. However it is common across all hotels I stayed in China.

A boutique bed and breakfast hotel in an Excellent location near the South Gate of Huangshan.  A great view of the mountain from the room and roof balconies.  A few minutes walk to the transfer station to catch the bus to the main entrance.  Convenient to eateries and shops.   Recently renovated hotel, large spacious room with all the modern features including a large tub, heated toilet seats, and a very comfortable bed. Very clean room.  There’s a well stock minimart on the first floor.  The room comes with free breakfast next door but the selection is limited. No western food but the Chinese food is quite good.  Very courteous and helpful reception staff.  Value for money.  I would stay here on my next trip.

Such a perfect location. Restaurants n supermarkets are everywhere. The tea inspired room triple beds we booked was amazing. It was beautifully designed with smart Chinese Siri called Xiao Ai which operates every electronic perfectly. The beds n pillows are so comfortable. It has a big screen TV. Comes with warm electronic Japanese style toilet. Breakfast was simple spread of food with everything u need. Love the porridge n the Pao. Owner n staff are very helpful n went through the hiking routes with us never provide raincoats. We left our luggage there for 2 nights. Definitely a good place to stay before your hike to Huangshan. .

The inn has very good and clean sanitary facilities, the room has a smart toilet, the price/performance ratio is very high, the front desk service attitude is enthusiastic, the location is superior, it only takes 1 minute to enter the South Gate, it is super convenient to enter and exit the scenic area, and the South Lake is not far away. Fantastic hotel with the very best location right on the central pond in the centre of all the activity, but perfectly quiet inside, full of period details, with the option to sit on a bench just outside the hotel and people watch, with good noodles and a good restaurant and good bar, all within 1 min walk (good = price and taste). Wonderful.

The stay at Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was remarkable. Received a call from the host (小李管家) while on the way to confirm my arrival time and needs. She even helped me arrange a driver to pick us up from the Huangshan North train station at a reasonable cost. Driver (李师傅) was friendly and gave us lots of tips while visiting Huangshan and we ended up using his services throughout the 3 days we were there. When we arrived, 小李管家 was right at the hotel entrance waiting for my for us and checkin into our rooms was a breeze. Rooms were clean with all the amenities you will need for a comfortable stay. Most impressive was the hotel layout and design which was very artsy and minimalist for a place like Hongcun. It was simply amazing! Me and my family especially loved the lobby and the coziness especially in front of the fireplace during winter. Hotel Location was within walking distance (200m) to Hongcun Ancient village and around 40mins drive to Huangshan mountain and around 1.5hrs drive to the Huangshan North Station or Tunxi Ancient Street. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and relatives if they are planning to visit Huangshan one day!!!
