GGeorgios GkotsisThe best location. Old fashioned hotel. . We visited the hotel on 24,25,26 of December and spa gym was closed.
No free car park. There is big car park 5 mins away by Walk. ( Central car park) 7£ all day
Big restaurant , bar and lounge.

TTamuStunning hotel, great location. Everything was fantastic. Small thing is room 109 has a small frosted window with no view. When opening it opens to a dirty mucky roof. We did not leave it open as vermin might enter the room. We also mentioned it was a 40th bday but no extras not even a note.

TTamuWe specifically booked this hotel for our anniversary and they decorated the bed with petals which was a nice touch. The hotel itself was very nice but the rooms were a bit outdated and the toilet was dirty. There were quite a few downsides which did ruin our short stay. We booked this hotel specifically for the spa facilities mainly the jacuzzi pool but this was out of order before we got there and we were not informed of this otherwise we would’ve booked elsewhere and it wasn’t fixed for our entire stay. Swimming pool was decent but not the cleanest as i felt dirt on pool floor.
On our last night we ran out of water and my wife is pregnant so i went to the night porter and asked for a bottle of water which they provide complimentary daily but he said he couldn't give me one and he could sell one from the bar, which i found ridiculous. The room didnt have a fridge so we couldnt buy any water and keep it cool.
Parking was £10 a day which I believe should be included in the stay.
Hotel staff were friendly other than that but I would probably look elsewhere next time. For the price we paid I did expect a lot more from the hotel.

TTamuI recently stayed at the Dorset Hotel. Overall, it was an okay experience. The room itself was very small for two people, which made it feel a bit cramped, and it could have been a little cleaner. One thing to be aware of is that reception closes at 5pm, so after that you need to collect your keys from the bar, which isn’t the most convenient.
On the positive side, parking was excellent it’s free and you can park anywhere, which was really handy. I also asked about a late checkout, but the hotel said they were fully booked. Standard checkout is 10am, which feels a bit early compared to other places I’ve stayed.
Apart from those points, everything else was good and the stay was comfortable enough.
