Hotel Bintang 4 di Veneto, Italia

I was skeptical reading previous reviews but decided to give it a try for one night during my business trip as I’m an IHG member. Having experienced staying at 5 different hotels in this city — most of them within walking distance on Corso Porta Nuova (main street leading from the train station to many main attractions) — I can say that Indigo was among one of my top 2 choices. The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated — the headboard of the bed immediately attracted attention, striking but elegant, with paintings seemingly telling romantic tales of the city’s history; open wardrobe was clever as it made the room seem spacious while leaving plenty of space for hanging clothes and jackets especially on a rainy day. The balcony was a super nice touch and was my favorite to come back to in the evening with a view of charming Verona at night watching people and cars passing by. Two chairs, a coffee table with blankets and a little bit of floral decorations. I spent a fair bit of time despite the cold and rain, soaking in the beautiful images which were among the most special memories I’d carry with me from this trip. Check-in was super efficient. Anna at the reception was an absolute joy to meet and interact with. She’s super kind, thoughtful and professional in helping me with storing my suitcase as I was in a rush to catch my train to a nearby city on a rainy day; she gave clear, accurate info helping me to go to the train station within 10mins; and on the next day, kindly offered recommendations for cafes. Her passion and enthusiasm and friendliness is above and beyond many of her peers. Her genuine smile stands out from others who might be just trying to get their job done. You can tell Anna is truly exceptional and a wonderful ambassador for Hotel Indigo. Keep up the good work! Breakfast service was super efficient, friendly, attentive. The professional and thoughtful gentleman offered multiple times coffee, tea, orange juice, etc, making sure each guest had everything needed for a good start of the day, quickly clearing dishes while guests stepped away - perfectly seamless. Truly outstanding attention to details. The restaurant offered a good variety of food choices: raw veggies are rare in hotel breakfast buffet but here they did so that was a plus in my book. Fresh fruits, muesli, (no sugar-added) yogurt and scrambled eggs were my go-to. Although I didn’t eat pastries or bread or drink Prosecco for breakfast, if that’s something you like then you’d be pleased to know they offered plenty to satisfy different tastes. The only thing that prevented Indigo from making my No. 1 choice in Verona was the shower. I requested specifically for a shower because from the photos shared by other travelers and reviews many commented that the bath look dated and needed update. I personally do not take baths in hotels so having a new, good water pressure shower with fast efficient drain would be way more important. They did honor my request with a standup shower corner stall. However, the square-shaped shower stall area was so small that my elbows (I’m petite size female) kept knocking on the glass doors. I believe they’re scheduled for major renovation in Jan-Feb 2024 so it’d be interesting to see if they remodel the bathrooms and showers.

Lokasi hotel sangat bagus. Gambar ketujuh dari kamar di seberang stasiun kereta api. Sangat nyaman untuk pergi ke pulau utama. Kamarnya besar dengan dua tempat tidur ganda. Toilet dan kamar mandinya juga sangat besar, jauh lebih besar dari hotel lain di Eropa. Tapi inilah intinya! Tidak ada air panas, tidak ada mesin kopi Tidak ada pasta gigi atau sikat gigi, saya mengerti Ada sandal, sabun, dan topi mandi (konfigurasinya aneh) Mini bar memiliki minuman dan anggur. Air mineral seharga 2,5 euro. Harga 2,2 ml di supermarket seberang lebih mahal dibandingkan di hotel. Poin kedua! ! Sarapan tidak terlalu buruk sama sekali Mungkin saya pernah makan kecil tapi enak sebelumnya, tapi makan yang ini terasa seperti kantin besar. Kantinnya sangat besar dan dapat menampung dua rombongan wisata besar. Croissantnya manis, timunnya agak asam, dan pancake buatan tangan lumayan enak. Anda dapat memilih di sini jika Anda bepergian dengan nyaman, jika tidak, Anda dapat melewatkannya. akhirnya! ! Ketika saya check out, saya dikenakan biaya 7,8 euro untuk pajak kota. Location is very good, right in the center and near the Gondola rides and private water taxis. Only issue was that our room had small toilet flies flying around, saw at least 5. Front desk staff were mostly helpful too

The hotel location is excellent. It’s just a 3-minute walk to the train and bus stations that go to Venice and the airport. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable and clean, and reception service was okay. But one thing really annoyed me: I don’t understand why a 4-star hotel doesn’t provide a kettle in the room. I drink tea, and there was only a coffee machine available. The reception told me to get hot water from the bar, which is fine, but the hot water looked dirty and didn’t seem clean. Also, the curtains never fully closed, there was always a gap, so it didn’t feel fully private.

Fasilitas hotelnya tidak terlalu baru dan mirip dengan standar bintang tiga domestik, tetapi kamarnya memiliki balkon, sehingga tidak terkesan terlalu sempit. Pelayanan hotelnya sangat bagus dan staf front desknya ramah. Sarapan hotel juga memiliki variasi yang beragam di Italia. Secara keseluruhan, ini adalah pengalaman menginap yang menyenangkan

The hotel offers exceptional service and amenities, surpassing typical expectations for a 4-star establishment. Its convenient location includes a bus stop directly across the street providing easy access to Venice city center. Additionally, there's a large supermarket nearby for quick snacks or groceries. Overall, it's excellent value for money.

Hotel di lokasi bagus, dekat stasiun. Sarapan berlimpah dan bervariasi. Staf yang ramah dan membantu. Kamar kecil, tidak ada ketel (€10 berdasarkan permintaan) dan pengering rambut tidak bagus sama sekali, atas permintaan mereka akan menyediakan satu untuk segera dikembalikan begitu Anda selesai menggunakannya, hanya saja Anda memerlukan colokan Eropa untuk menggunakannya di kamar mandi; perlengkapan kesopanan sudah bagus.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at BW Premier Collection Continental and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The location is unbeatable — just a five-minute walk from Santa Lucia Train Station, which makes arriving in Venice incredibly easy, especially with luggage. You’re right in the heart of the city while still being able to relax comfortably. The service was truly impeccable, from reception to room service. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. One moment that really stood out: I was allowed to sit on the lobby couch and enjoy a bottle of wine that I hadn’t purchased from the hotel — something that almost never happens. Not only did they allow it, but they brought me glasses and even opened the bottle for me with a smile. Later, I went to buy more wine from the bar, and even though they had technically just closed, they still served me without hesitation. That level of hospitality really says everything. Amazing location, outstanding service, and a warm, generous atmosphere. I will definitely come back, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay centrally in Venice while enjoying truly exceptional service.
