Hands down the hotel with the best service!! The staff are extremely friendly and give their best to enhance my holiday experience. There was a ”housekeeper” who will get in touch with you upon receiving your booking, and you can ask ANY question that you have. It was my first time travelling to China and having such approachable staff really really helped calm my nerves. She also helped me by recommending activities, fantastic restaurants, day itineraries, and even helped with the purchase of attraction tickets. From my knowledge, they did not profit from the tickets. Having travelled to many countries, I must say that this is the first time I have experienced such a level of excellent service from an accommodation. The rooms are also superb. Clean and spacious, with a beautiful view of the waters. Location is excellent as it is WALKING DISTANCE to the national park entrance. If you need any help at anywhere at any point of time, the staff is just 1 message away through WeChat, or you could go downstairs to the counter. But please be advised to take a DiDi taxi directly from the railway station/airport wherever you are coming from in order to maximize accessibility with your luggages. Just like other reviews said, the hotel is not the most accessible by walking if you are carrying heavy luggages. And come on... the taxi should be affordable enough even for just a 5min ride!! This small inconvenience can be easily overcome! Note for all. DiDi is not available in Furong and Fenghuang. Wonderful hotel! The most important thing for us was the location — it’s right next to the funicular, which was very convenient. I especially want to highlight the front desk staff: everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. A special thank you to the young woman who helped us with breakfast for our child, called a taxi, walked us to the car, and even gave a toy to our child — it was incredibly kind and touching! Unfortunately, I didn’t ask her name, but I’d like to express my deep gratitude for her care and attention. Overall, the entire staff left a great impression. The rooms are clean, cozy, and have everything you need, except for bathrobes. Breakfasts were excellent — a wide variety of dishes to suit any taste, and finally, during this trip around China, we found real European cuisine! We had a very positive experience and would gladly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very close to the zhangjiajie east gate. However, walking across the stream is not doable when the water level of the stream is high. Room is spacious and clean and the toilet bowl is well equipped with cleaning “gadgets”, good for travellers in need to clean body.. staff are young and need to be more communicable with foreigners but generally a good service throughout..thank you for the stay at a place which I think is absolutely wonderful

We had a very pleasant short stay at this hotel. The staff members were very responsive and helpful. Our room has a fancy shower, automated curtains, very comfortable bed,and a lounge chair. Bottled water was provided per your need. The front desk sent a robot to deliver extra bottled water to our room - that’s really cute! This hotel is in a great location for visiting Tianmen Mountain

This is a new boutique hotel named Utopia Hotel. The hotel has already contacted us 4 days before our check in date to confirm and ask if we need a pick-up. They provide one time free transfer from the city (pick up/drop off) and free transfers to/from the national forest. All the staff, including the owner, were very helpful in purchasing parks tickets and suggesting the routes. They always try to ensure we get everything we need. The hotel has many foreigners, so no worries for communication. The room itself is really nice. Beds are firm. Besides the master bed, there is a tatami bed. The mountain view from the room is amazing! It is a smart room (as in many other hotels in China). The air condition is operated by the Baidu AI assistant. But since it's in Chinese, you can just ask the remote from the front office. They have 2 washer-dryer units, 2 washers, 1 dryer and 1 steam iron on the 6th floor. The detergent is also provided. The location is almost at the end of Baofeng Road and at the quieter side. It's about 15-20 minutes walk to Xibu Road. We can easily find food and convenience outside the hotel. There's a massage place right beside the hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and chose it for the fantastic location close to the cable car for the Tianmen mountain national park (only a 5-8min walk away). The amenities were fantastic and the room larger than what we expected. The hotel offers a hotel breakfast for a fee which we opted for and Im glad we did! It was a great way to experience local breakfast for foreigners like ourselves. The staff did not speak much english but we were able to communicate very well via wechat translate & message. Our room was also a bit warm due to the central heating, but reception was very accommodating and got a fan for our room which helped a lot. The hotel had also let us know there was construction which was fine but they even provided us with earplugs which we thought was very considerate. Overall, it was a fantastic stay at Zhangjiajie - would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay if you have an early trip at Changsha Railway Station. Hotel was easy to check in, no smoke/cigarette smell. The room was clean, beds were comfy, AC and heater were working during winter (some hotels disable the cooling part of AC, and your room can get too hot and stuffy without it). They provided drinking water, toiletries, some tea and an electric kettle. They also had a gym and free self-service laundry and dryers (instructions and buttons were in Chinese) Although taxis/DiDi can't drop you off directly at the entrance as the hotel is located at the side of the train station and cars are not allowed there. If it's raining, ask them to drop you off a little further near another train station entrance and just walk straight through the rows of stores to reach the hotel.

There's not much to do around the area, most tourist sites or worthwhile restaurants are about 3kms away or further and need a taxi ride/subway ride. The hotel itself feels pretty clean and modern, my friends rooms felt quite clean and modern but my room was old, dirty and weirdly designed. I think it was a family room previously and instead of doing any real renovations or decorations they just removed the extra bed. Some of the walls have childrens drawing on then in pencil, others are just filthy. The space of the room is massive but there is only one small table and chair. My friends who paid less or the same had two chairs or even a sofa. My room felt weird overall. Breakfast was standard, I'd recommend the noodles made to order over the premade buffet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall my stay was good, but I really really hope they do something about the room I stayed in....

Outstanding service: laundry even has staff to look after your wash, breakfast staff are quick to replenish food and beverages, room appliances are high end, housekeeping cleans everyday and refills consumables. This is really a high end hotel!

Upon arrival, we are warmly welcome by the counter staff~叶子小姐 who assisted me in checking in to the room. She was so kind to give us a free up grade of having 4 beds (1 king, 1 single and 2 single beds instead of my original 3 beds ~ 1 king, 1 double and 1 single) on top of that, she added me in the WeChat to introduce places of interest to visit and to message her if we needed further assistance. The location is good as malls everywhere near hotel. There is also a karaoke at level 4. Use 大众点评网to book the room. We had a good deal of having singing session for a small room for RMB $40.🤫

Our family have a wonderful stay at Fungee Huangxin Road. Very happy with the hotel service. Staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. We will come back again.

The hotel located into the Changsha south railway station, you face to the station in front, the hotel on your right, only 3-5 mins by walk to check-in the train, so so fasttttt. The staffs were very nice and helpful, especially, the guy with glasses night shift on 2024.11.01. The room was very cozy and good, BUT I smell the smoke all the time because it’s smoking room, I guess. The BF was very nice, there were a variety of choices; western or eastern style. i love it!

It is close to the airport, however, it is still too far to walk. Their promised bus was actually publicly shared between multiple hotels. By the time it arrived at our hotel, it was too full to let us on. We almost missed our flight because of this. The hotel should accept partial responsibility for this, because they claim they have a free shuttle service every thirty minutes, which is not completely true. Otherwise it was good value for money. 它离机场很近，但步行仍然太远。他们承诺的巴士实际上在多家酒店之间公开共享。当它到达我们的酒店时，太多人我们无法上。因此，我们差点错过了航班。酒店应该对此承担部分责任，因为他们声称每三十分钟有一次免费班车服务，但这并不完全正确。否则，它物有所值。

The location of this hotel is very convenient as it is just 2 Metro stops away from popular shopping district Wuyi Square. It is also conveniently located on the same Metro line as the airport station. There is also a convenience store and food street nearby to the hotel. Staff at the hotel were very helpful, offering us more bottled water when requested and the reception staff also sent us recommendations for food and tourist attractions. Hotel room was also clean with all required amenities available. Breakfast buffet was also delicious and had a good spread. Overall a very enjoyable and comfortable stay.

The location is okay. Some of the front desk staff need extra customer service training. The so called afternoon and late evening snacks were poor, both in quantity and quality. The most unfortunate part was that some of the staff had a very poor attitude. They served the snacks as if they were doing charity to their guests. The outside delivery personnel came in and out of the hotel without any check or restrictions, which could be a safety concern to some of the guests. The smoke free environment was a joke. The self service laundry facility was a welcome feature.

Our stay here was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with top-notch service and warm hospitality. A special mention goes to Dandan, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a seamless experience. She was incredibly proactive, always offering assistance before we even had to ask. The whole team really took effort to communicate with us. They will treat not just like a friend but like a close relative who visited their hometown. That was literally how we felt when we were there. One of the highlights was the thoughtful amenities, including a massage chair just outside our room—an absolute treat after a long day of hiking. Dandan provided us with detailed guidance (with maps) on the best routes for exploring Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Grand Canyon Glass Bridge and Tianmen Mountain, ensuring we made the most of our trip. She even kept us updated on the weather and gave valuable advice on how to dress appropriately for the changing temperatures at higher elevations. The hotel also offers fantastic perks such as free airport pickup and drop-off, a complimentary ride to the train station and Tianmen Mountain Cableway, and an amazing breakfast featuring the best Hunan-style noodles we’ve had. This was truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had, thanks to the incredible service and attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zhangjiajie!

During our stay, the front desk truly impressed us with their exceptional support. We were thrilled by the complimentary room upgrades and laundry services that made our experience even better. The cleanliness of our accommodations was remarkable, and although the location was a bit far from the National Park, it didn’t detract from our enjoyment. Our only minor concern was the presence of smokers in the corridor, which was a bit bothersome. However, the staff promptly addressed the situation, demonstrating their commitment to guest satisfaction.

Had a great stay at this hotel! Because the hotel is new, all the amenities are in great condition and is very nicely renovated and clean! The location is also ideal if you want a quieter spot near the ancient town. The hotel provides unlimited free transport to the entrance of the ancient town as well, which makes it more convenient to get around! Yanzi (燕子管家） is also a great host and helps to arrange transportation from the train station 👍 overall great service, quite convenient location, and clean/beautiful room!

I am very happy yo have chosen this hotel. as i walked around town looking at most home stay, I felt that hotel kechao has provided such an excellent service with their special way. Upon arrival, they have given a lot of instructions on how to visit this town. They have also given us some fruits once we were back to the room. The room is probably one of the best in town I would say. I have studied a lot of other hotels but I am so happy with this one. Plus it is directly next to famous hongqiao bridge. Before you start your journey they gave you a rough guide instructions on how best to walk around the ancient town. Once you start walking, you can use the interactive map the hotel sent you via wechat. All in all, this is the best stay throughout my trip. Thanks to both the staff Hwa Hwa and Yingzi. They have been such a great help. All the photos are from my own stay. Have I mentioned their breakfast? My gosh... It was one of the most satisfying one. They brought it to our room. Maybe because it was the low season but it is really much appreciated. Nice breakfast. Their shampoo is so fragrant that we wanted to buy but too bad it wasn't for sale. Plus the room has got the smart control system using xiaudo. But only in Chinese. We definitely appreciate they hotel for their service.

Owners are very kind, friendly and ready to help you. I added their wechat once booked. They will pick up us which the place under 3 choices. and he help us take the luggages to hotel, that is not far from oldtown entrance. The location is very good. Not loud and fuss. Very quite to rest and relax. The front view is so amazing. You can walk around 10-15 minutes to downtown. Owner provide e-map to you. You can left luggages once checked out and walk around old town. Then once you will go to railways, they will help you take the luggages to the old town entrance.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious, quiet and comfy with nice view of the town. The impeccable and responsive service is unmatchable! The breakfast was adequate and the home cooked noodles were delicious. We would stay here again next time.

Strategically located within the Fenghuang Ancient Town, easily accessible as it closed to the main road. Closed to restaurants. We had a room facing the enchanting river with Beautiful view anytime of the day. The forever friendly and helpful ladyboss who explained all the walking distance tourists spots.

This inn was well located in the heart of the old town with shops, cafes and restaurants in close proximity, yet ideally away from the noise and the bustle so that one can sleep very soundly. It has a lovely roof terrace which offers a panoramic view of the river. A late night snack was offered and the kind owner even gave us a bottle of local candy. He also arranged for our transport to the rail station without charge. Because my partner has trouble climbing stairs, the considerate owner arranged for us to have a room on a lower floor. All in all, a very pleasant stay and i would definitely book this inn again.

Good comfortable hotel in Fenghuang. It was in a great location because it was just far enough away from the river to not hear the loud noises at night from the nightclubs, but close enough that we could step outside and immediately be in the old city. The beds were comfortable and the staff were happy to provide extra pillows and bottles of water upon request. A very nice stay.

Amazing boutique hotel located in the center of Fenghuang old town, with amazing staff and great luxurious atmosphere! ❤️ The room was very spacious, beautifully decorated and with all modern amenities. Everything was incredibly clean and felt brand new. Our highlights were the comfy bedsheets and the elegant bathtub, which were the perfect end after a long day of traveling! Breakfast in the morning comes as a set menu of Chinese typical breakfast dishes, including noodle soup , dim sum, fresh fruit, all tasty and made fresh. In case you are too lazy to wake up early, in the room there is available a nice selection of local teas and coffee free of charge.☺️ The location of the hotel is very convenient, as it is central to the old town and yet away from the noise of the crowds and bars which stay opened until late ar night. All main points of interest are easily reachable by foot within 5 minutes. A special mention goes to the family staff who went above and beyond to meet our request! They not only helped us organize car transfer from and to the train station, (including carrying our luggage to the main road since in the old town no cars are allowed), but also to book tickets to the nearby attractions, give us restaurant recommendations, and even provide heating machine for the room. We cannot recommend enough this hotel for anybody who wants to spend a great relaxing time in Fenghuang old city. They surely know how to make a guest feel pampered for the whole stay! 5🌟 top service, thank you !!!

I had a wonderful stay at the Fenghuang Best River Hotel and would recommend it to anyone! From the start of my arrival, the service from the receptionist was impeccable, where she explained how to arrive at the accom as it was slightly confusing due to the lack of Didis. Rooms were extremely clean and spacious, and the receptionist was extremely enthusiastic in giving us a guided itinerary and map for the area. The view from the balcony views were spectacular and rivalled the ones on the ground level. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stay located in the heart of the action, and as a bonus for any cat lovers there are 2 cats to play with in the lobby :D
