We were just passing through and were on the premises for around 15 hours. The reception was great and welcoming. The room had everything we needed and we had a lovely one-night stay.

Hotel ber***a hutan hujan tropis yang cocok untuk liburan keluarga. Sayangnya jalanan terhalang tanah longsor dan kami tidak bisa sampai ke Queenstown. Hotel ini masih layak untuk direkomendasikan. Anda bisa singgah dalam perjalanan ke Queenstown melalui jalur barat, tapi itu agak seperti labirin. Rambu jalan tidak terlalu jelas. Perbelanjaan di sekitarnya juga sangat nyaman.

Our Theatre Royal stay exceeded our expectations- they were so caring, the design and decorations were really thought out.
The town has so much interesting history and I’m sure a lot to see in the way of nature. Wish we could have stayed longer!

a very nice hotel in franz joseph. the receptionist was kind enough to give us an upgrade as our original rooms were upstairs and there's no lift services. we ended up in a room on the ground level with o lovely fireplace with a microwave and comfy sofa. free parking on the premises itself and we were very happy with our stay there. there's a restaurant just minutes walking distance away but the town is not big so every thing else is just a few minutes drive away.

We were greeted with warm hospitality by the owner Angela when we arrived to check into Franz Josef Oasis.
The executive king suite room was clean, cosy and spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the sofas with warm blankets place for our comfort near the fireplace.
The location of this place is also good as it 5 minutes drive to the town where we had a delicious dinner at Blue Ice Restaurant and Bar which was recommended to us by Angela.
The service is excellent and I will definitely recommend this place to those who are travelling to Franz Josef !

We had been advised by a relative that this hotel on the beach was worth staying at. We had a deluxe room up on the hill across the main road so we were not actually on the beach. However the view of the ocean was fantastic particularly in the stormy weather. Due to the weather we had to drive down to the restaurant for breakfast. Restaurant fully booked out by tour groups for dinner but the tavern about 1.5km down the road saw us right for a meal. The complex seemed to have several different standards of rooms and I think ours was the best.

Got in late and left early. Met by the very friendly owner and shown to my room and the features were well explained.
The room was spacious, clean, well appointed and the bed very comfortable.
In spite of the motel being on the main road and me being in the room closest to the road I noticed little or no traffic noise.

SSparkling ❤️Location was decent for a small town, with a mini mart nearby and several dining options around.
The staff were very nice and friendly. One of my family members wasn’t sure how to use the heated blanket, so they didn’t take it out, which made it look like the room wasn’t used. The next day, the staff actually called to check if we were okay, as they were concerned we might have caught a cold from not using the heated blanket. I thought that was a really thoughtful gesture.

TTamuWe arrived around 9pm ish and the property was quite dark. The reception desk had a note stick on the door indicating our room assignment. We had booked 2 rooms, but unfortunately, both had bugs (moths) in them.
Since we arrived late, there were no open stores or restaurants nearby, not even a convenience store. We found a nearby bar online that was advertised as being open until 1am, but when we called, they informed us they were closing early due to a quiet night. However, they were kind and prepared some chips, samosas and spring rolls for us, which we appreciated as it was our only option for dinner.
For future guests arriving late, I highly recommend advising them to purchase food in advance.

TTamuThe male receptionist who greeted us was not particularly friendly; and only when we got to our first floor room did we read about a luggage service. The room was tastefully furnished and clean, and other staff we interacted with were friendly. However the biggest issue is that the walls between rooms are are paper thin so we could hear people next door and doors banging. This woke us up early on both nights we stayed. If you stay - bring ear plugs. There was a lounge with a bar - the bar was permanently closed so there was no where to get a hot or cold drink unless you went to a cafe down the road.

TTamuI think it's one of the best legit hotel in Franz Josef. Staff are so nice. I had to cancel 1 night of my stay, as my main activity (the glacier hike) got cancelled due to bad weather. Hotel was kind enough to accommodate and refund me 1 night. Its definitely a nice place to stay.
