LLieu Munn LoongMy wife and I have had a 2-night stay at this Hotel Keifuku Fukui Ekimae Room #707 from 11 to 13 October 2025.
The Hotel is just a 1-minute walk away from the Fukui Station. Its reception is small, and it has limited parking lots on the 1st Floor behind the Hotel. So we are grateful and thankful that we were given a lot for just ¥1000 per day for 2 days. The Hotel staff are polite and helpful, and are able to communicate in simple English.
As the Hotel is located right in the city centre, so shopping centres with eateries are within walking distance.
The hotel room is the standard typical type whereby it is very small but very clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable for our liking, and the very small bathroom (the WC is right next to the bathroom room) - again the typical Japanese type - is clean and its has strong water pressure for a comfortable shower.
We believe the Hotel is quite old as the general fittings and fixtures are very dated, but it is clean and well maintained.
At SGD S$107 per night, we find it not value for money at all, and, if the rate is remained the same or gets higher, we will choose to stay else where if we travel to Fukui again.

TTamuサンドームへLIVEに行くのに利用させていただきました。
立地的に言えば駅から遠いので便利とは言えませんが車で行かれるなら特に問題もなく駐車場も無料でたくさんあるし近くにはスーパーもホームセンターもドンキホーテも食べ物屋さんもすごく多いので便利です！
お部屋も綺麗で先に荷物を置きに行った際にチェックインだけできたのもよかったです。
ベッドが大きくてすごく良かった。
またぜひ利用したいホテルです。

WWHui NgOur favorite hotel for this trip. Love the beautiful room with comfortable bed and modern bathroom with a huge bath tub. We could also see sunrise from our full height window which had a great view of the city. Breakfast spread was good with dinosaurs decorations on the tables. The hotel also had a dinosaur activity for kids. Location was excellent too. Near the train station and shopping malls with many food options.

LLuke CarlisleGreat hotel in Fukui. Modern clean with friendly and patient staff. Breakfast was great and they continue serving coffee through until 10 if you want to top up your caffeine intake.
The hotel is about 20 steps from the JR station right next door as well as the Echigo Railway. The up side of this was I was able to dash to the hotel and leave my bag there saving me a few hundred yen on a locker and then boarding the Echigo railway for a day trip to Katsuyama. The down side is you do get a fair bit of noise from the trains trundling past. Overall though it very happy.

SShin-Woei FannThis hotel locates next to the JR Fukui station, which is quite important because the required public transportation for tourists are all start from here, including the bus, JR, and local railway.
However, you can tell this hotel is quite old and only has refrained limited part such as the wall paper, which does not mean much to me. The air condition is not cooling, the toilet flush leaks frequently, these points are not often seen for a hotel in Japan.
The hotel offer free breakfast like some of the business hotel.

TttlljpLokasinya sangat bagus, tepat di sebelah stasiun dan di sebelah pusat informasi wisata. Kamar untuk satu orang cukup luas. Selain pilihan minuman beralkohol dan non-alkohol di lobi, tersedia juga layanan ramen dan ochazuke. Ramennya sederhana tapi lezat. Terdapat juga pojok manga dan kursi pijat di lantai 4 yang dapat digunakan oleh para tamu. Koleksi manganya luar biasa dan buku-bukunya terasa seperti baru atau dirawat dengan sangat baik. Sarapan disajikan dengan pemandangan di lantai atas.
