The hostel is right nect to the train station so you don’t have to worry about what time you arrive in Interlaken. Breakfast is provided so that helps a lot for those travelling on a budget. Rooms were clean. However the plug point was lose and I was not able to use the charger at my bed. There were still other plugs which were working fine. The view from the hostel was also really nice

The hotel just located nearby Terminal Station which really convenient. Although it mentioned that no breakfast provided during booking, but upon checked with hotel receptionist, breakfast was provided. If you need hot water, you may boiled it at the common area.

Location wise, nothing much to critique as it’s situated right beside the train station. You can’t get anything more convenient than this. We like the modern design of the room, generally. The only negative point we experienced was the smell. There was a smell (smells like pee) inside the room but surprisingly not the toilet. Toilet actually smells better than the room. Ventilation was poorly managed, I guess. And the staff said there’s nothing they could do about it and to my biggest surprise, the hotel does not have an air freshener at all! Contrary to those reviews saying how good the breakfast is, I find it quite disappointing. Food selection is so limited and the quality wasn’t better or even on par with the typical hotel breakfast standard. Here I would like to commend on a particular staff named Iulia (not sure if I spell it correctly). She is nice, friendly and accommodating. I would like to thank her for her hospitality. Overall, I would probably come back to stay again at Essential for its perfect location.

The hotel is very convenient to reach, it seems equidistant from both the East & West Stations. Since it was just a short 2 nights stay, we did not take the housekeeping service, and when we requested water, the receptionist did not seem happy with us and also with the Housekeeping team. Seemed a bit weird. However, the housekeeping team was kind and courteous always.

Very convenient, right at Grindelwald station. Cheerful friendly staff. Recommend topping up for rooms facing the Eiger. Rooms facing train tracks will hear the train station announcements repeatedly. No issues booking with trip.

Providing a great online customer service while having the e enquiries before checking in. Hotel room with the extraordinary view facing Jungfrau which highly maximize the experience during stay. However, the location of the hotel is quite up on the hill. Guests with large luggage like me may feel inconvenience.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They are very patient to answer all our questions and assist us to book the ticket to the Jungfraujoch. Breakfast was nice. We have our dinner at their restaurant as well. The food was great, we were very much enjoy it. I love the onion soup. Of course, the waitress also very nice. Our room have the balcony, we have a nice Eiger view with just in front of us. Super!

The bathroom was very simple without any shampoo or shower gel provided which was different from the description on booking. There was no one at the reception and you have to do the check-in and check-our by yourself. Can't expect too much as it is a hostel.

Everything was good, the facilities, breakfast and the view. Location was difficult to access but given the nature of the town its fair. Just one thing the time of the check in and check out were insanely inconvenient and nobody was there to help during non-office hours until 4pm. Maybe something to improve on.

The location of the hotel is really good. Walking out is the dreamy hillside, next to the train station, and walking up there is a small town supermarket and some small shops. It is also very close to the first Shandong cable car. Although it is a hotel that is more than 100 years old, the infrastructure is also super good, with everything it should have, and the breakfast is also very good.

I stayed in this hotel with my friends during my graduation trip in July. The friends made a temporary reservation, but the stay experience made me very satisfied and amazing. Our 1st impression of Hotel Krebs was great! Reception was warm & explained in detail the hotel policies. Our room gives us a feel as though we are living in the lap of luxury! The perfect blend of size & style, we are amazed with their spaciousness & exquisite decor. They provide bedroom slippers provided, toothbrush, shaver & cream, cotton pad, safe, hair dryer, etc. These advanced amenities definitely make our stay nothing short of perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much! The location of the hotel was awesome. It's just a few minutes walk to the Interlaken West Station. There's also many different buses u can take to many different beautiful attractions like Lake Brienz. I have seen many reviews about the cheese fondue from their restaurant. We tried it too & was so in love with it. As we brought our 3.5yrs old child along, we can only have cheese fondue without alcohol. We replaced it with apple juice at an additional cost of 5chf. Indeed food was really good! And the waiters were really kind & friendly. They were very kind & patient with our little girl. She was given colouring materials for entertainment. Thanks to the waiters. We had lots of laughter while enjoying our meals. Oh yes, there's a big fluffy black cat who often patronise the hotel & restaurant. It usually sleeps on the first chair near the left of the entrance. Staff of the hotel & restaurant are really nice, loving little animals & taking care of them very well. Overall, it was a very wonderful experience staying here. We would gladly come back again!

The view from the room balcony was Mesmerizing and nothing short of a heavenly view… The breakfast was descent, however a little short of vegetarian options. The chocolates at the reception desk were amazing, better than Lindt. I wish I could know where they sourced them from😁 Harder Kulm (Top of Interlaken) entrance is just in front of the hotel. The hotel is in a good location, very close to Interlaken West Station, with many shops and restaurants downstairs. The river is just below the balcony, and the scenery is picturesque. The breakfast is also very rich.

The room is well equipped with basic amenities and quality of products used in the room for guests are good. Hotel breakfasts are delicious. Overall the hotel experience at Royal at Georges is memorable and we are satisfied with the hotel stay there. The location is around ten minutes away from interlaken ost station. However there is clock tower nearby which chimes a lot during the night.

The breakfast is very good, the spa area is sufficient and diverse, the swimming pool is a highlight, and there is no need to worry about having nowhere to go in bad weather. The room was a bit small, the bathroom had a bathtub but it was not very useful as we went to the spa. The restaurant can provide take-out, the pizza is of good quality, I didn't try other things. The scenery is first-class and there is a supermarket opposite, which is very convenient. Highly recommended. Some rooms require climbing stairs, which is a bit inconvenient, so please pay attention when booking a room.

The hotel is halfway up the hill, some distance from the Grindelwald center and the train station. The hotel also has a shuttle bus that can be transported. We are self-driving. There is free parking in the hotel. It is relatively close to the cable car station of the first mountain. There are not many types of breakfast at the hotel. But it is enough, the biggest feature is the scenery, so beautiful! Whether it is a room or a place to have breakfast, look out for the snowy mountain, if you come to grindelwald next time, you will stay here!
