We love this hotel for the location and the size of the room. The place is very luxurious but one thing that can be improved is the temperature for the rooms. They over used the heater and we had to ask to lower it. It still felt too warm. We asked them to open the room window but still it was too hot. The breakfast was very good with some room for improvement. The buffet looked cramped in an area of the restaurant. The location of some of the items wasn’t the most strategically. For instance, to grab some fruit you have to be practically on top of other items of the salad bar. People could literally breath on top of the food. Overall this hotel is great but it needs a major upgrade in the rooms and the wet area of the gym/pool. The showers there need some work. The steam room wasn’t working. Only the dry sauna worked. It need better cleaning as well

The room supply was tight during the Spring Festival. We booked a room at 9pm. We wanted a quiet room away from the road, and it was satisfied. The soundproofing was OK. It was quiet if you were away from the road, but you could hear the noise in the corridor. It was not noisy and was very quiet when you were sleeping. The fresh air system was easy to use, the screen projection was simple, and the service was also very good. Necessities, water and drinks were provided. The room service was fast, and there was a robot for delivering meals, so you didn't need to go downstairs. The quality of the breakfast buffet in the morning was also very good. If you have a lot of luggage, the manager downstairs will help you bring the luggage up. There is a printer on the first floor, which can print documents, which is not inferior to the 5-star hotel I stayed in before.

An incredibly beautiful hotel that has recently undergone a renovation, giving it a more modern feel while still preserving its elegant, Parisian-inspired charm. The breakfast room is decorated with large paintings of Napoleon, and the room ceilings are styled with French influences. The meeting rooms are spacious, and the Legendale VIP room is ideal for smaller, more intimate meetings, comfortably accommodating around 8 people. The food was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Overall, a fantastic experience – I’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Legendale!

The hotel upgraded us to apartments in a condominium nearby. The apartments are very spacious, well equipped, secured, and clean. The location is a distance away to the city centre, but with private transport, there's no issue. Nearby the hotel there're some shops, and a row of eateries with local food and local prices. The reception desk staff especially Sunny, Tina and Rebecca are warm, helpful, and responsive. Compliments to their excellent service. The only negative point is the breakfast which is outsourced to an adjacent cafe - the variety should be improved. We took the breakfast only once, and make our own in the apartments for the rest of the stay.

Grand Hotel Beijing offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. The facilities are top-notch, the location is unbeatable, and the staff go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. I stayed in a room that had a breathtaking view of the Forbidden City! Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing. It is truly a home away from home.

Location of this hotel is definitely A+++ for those going to Forbidden Palace and nearby attractions. It is 20 mins walk to Forbidden palace and 5 mins walk to Wangfujing. We booked this place because it is right in front of Wangfu Century building where me and my hubby rented Chinese costume for 1 day and had Chinese pictorial nearby the Palace. It's also not far from the airport cost us less than 100rmb to get here by taxi. My only take is the carpet needs a little cleaning but everything is good. Not to mention this hotel has a history as it was built long time ago. According to Google ”it was built in the 1930s. In 1946, Cuimingzhuang became the residence of the Chinese Communist Party delegation of the Military Mediation Department. In 1995, Cuimingzhuang was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Beijing.” This is the reason why there is always police visibility outside the hotel. I feel very safe walking outside the hotel at 2am looking for food with my hubby. Beijing is very very safe and I will come back again.

This is a very good hotel with lots to offer and many, many ammenities. They also gave me sparkling wine and snacks upon check in. There is a mall next to/connected to the hotel which is very convenient. The hotel also has an absolutely amazing bar call Beersmith. It's my favourite in Beijing with live music almost every night and they make their own beer and ciders. My friend wasn't allowed to check in because her passport was at the embassy. They refused even when she had photos of her passport and visa pages. I understand this is government policy but the people in front of us were also refused. They told us this is a common problem so I think they should try to find some solutions that doesn't involve losing money and customers. I am thankful that she got her money back and I know they were trying to help us the best they can but just make sure you meet the requirements before you spend money and try to check in.

We didn’t want to go far during the Dragon Boat Festival, so we took our children to play in the city. Nangong’s service was pretty good. We arrived early to play in the water. The hotel checked in for us at around 10 a.m. and we received a bag after check-in. Snacks! The water world is very big, and there are not many people there, so I had a lot of fun overall. There are various ball games and a children's playground underground in the hotel, and there are not many people, so it is suitable for bringing children quietly!
