Location was decent for a small town, with a mini mart nearby and several dining options around. The staff were very nice and friendly. One of my family members wasn’t sure how to use the heated blanket, so they didn’t take it out, which made it look like the room wasn’t used. The next day, the staff actually called to check if we were okay, as they were concerned we might have caught a cold from not using the heated blanket. I thought that was a really thoughtful gesture.

The staff was really nice and we appreciated the snack bar since there is no supermarket around. The room was czsy and warm. You were in walking distance to the beach, some nice little tracks and could walk to the pancake rocks in about half an hour.

The room is quite dated and really needs some maintenance. We stayed in a cabin, and there were rust spots on the ceiling, peeling laminate on the side table, an unpleasant smell inside, and very dim lighting. On the positive side, the shared facilities especially the kitchen and toilets, were excellent. The receptionist was friendly and approachable, and the location is fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and the glowworm dell.

TTamuWe had been advised by a relative that this hotel on the beach was worth staying at. We had a deluxe room up on the hill across the main road so we were not actually on the beach. However the view of the ocean was fantastic particularly in the stormy weather. Due to the weather we had to drive down to the restaurant for breakfast. Restaurant fully booked out by tour groups for dinner but the tavern about 1.5km down the road saw us right for a meal. The complex seemed to have several different standards of rooms and I think ours was the best.

WWater TravelThe staff is very helpful, she asked me where to go when checking out, she told us the road is being blocked for our next next station. So that we can change our itinerary anc book another motel, otherwise our trip will be in a mess. The motel location is good, only the walking distance can reach the town center and the beach. However the motel is quiet, we can hear the bird sound to wake us up. But pls note that the motel do not provide toothpaste and toothbrush, remember bring them by yourself.

PPengguna AnonimConvenient location whish is just off Highway 6 at the entrance to Greymouth and few minutes drive to town centre. Kitchen is well-layout and fully equipped with electric stove and microwave oven 👍. Bathroom will be more use-friendly if some hooks are installed on the wall for towels and clothings. We enjoyed the coastal drive to the Pancake Rocks and Blowholes very much.
