Hotel Beach di Campania, Italy

The hotel environment is very good, you can park your car, give the key to the front desk, and they will drive you to the hotel entrance in the morning. The breakfast is also good, with fresh fruits. I also encountered the problem of others, they would not ask for coffee proactively, and the waiters would proactively tell Europeans if they had other coffee needs (the restaurant only had black coffee), they would provide it, but they would not tell the Asians, and as a result, the next table asked about coffee, and the waiter said there was black coffee in front, and did not say that they could provide other types of coffee, but I saw that they took the initiative to bring cappuccino coffee to the Europeans.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. The room facilities are of good quality. You can see the sea from the room. The view of Mount Vesuvius at sunset is beautiful. The restaurant is of good quality and not expensive. The Western buffet breakfast is OK. There are many tourists. Parking is convenient at 6 euros a day. There are swimming pools and beaches. The front desk and team are quite enthusiastic and the service is of standard.

I highly recommend this hotel with 10 points. The quality of cleanliness, scenery, room equipment, and staff is also 10 points excellent. There are different restaurants in the hotel for guests to choose from. There are also different breakfast styles every day, so you can choose from them. The only drawback is that the hotel is a bit far away and you may need to take a car to get there. But all in all, I highly recommend this hotel!

This was our second stay in Amalfi and at the same hotel as we loved it so much the first time in 2019. Everything is amazing, the host staff, room,,cleanliness and presentation. Breakfast was delicious. Totally recommend!!

The service in the hotel is very considerate, the breakfast is delicious, and you can see the sunset over the sea from the terrace, which is amazing👍🏻 The hotel arranged a taxi pick-up service for us on the day of our departure, which was very considerate.

Hotel Fontana is great hotel in location , in the terms of staff. Staff of hotel is very cooperative and they are very helpful. Hotel is located just in the centre of Amalfi . And gives a good view of church and the restaurant on street. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very comfortable stay. Nice, clean room certainly no complaints in that respect. Location is outside of the centre of Salerno, however a half-hourly train can be caught 5 minutes walk away from the hotel, which gets u into Salerno in 15 minutes, and u can be at the tourist ferry terminal in 25 minutes. A small number of restaurants around and a supermarket is 2 minutes away. Breakfast was very basic but was sufficient enough. Not too bad for the price point and definitely cheaper than Amalfi Coast, but the easy access to Amalfi Coast made it worth the stay.

Location was perfect! Just a 7 minute walk from Sorrento train station. ALL of the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! Wide variety of pastries, cheese, luncheon meat, yogurt and coffee!

Facilities: The room facilities are very new and comfortable. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, with daily cleaning service. Environment: Very close to the beach, opposite the lemon orchard. Service: The dining is very good, and we eat at the hotel every night.

Amenities were great and staff was super helpful. They had a shuttle to city centre which took 1.5 euros each way which was good, as the location was 15 min drive. Only downside for us was it was difficult to reach here from Port or from Train station. It took almost 50 min to reach here as buses are not frequent. Finding the right bus was a hassle as google maps bus number and actual was way different. You have to check with drivers to know. The team here were having all the bus n train tickets so we dont have to get in line for tickets this was a plus.

The whole stay at Johanna’s park Hotel was very satisfying. The hotel provides you with a service that takes you straight into the town centre and back, same goes for the time table regarding the scheduled pick up times. Staff was welcoming and helpful, rooms spacious and reliable for what the hotel advertises. An absolute favourite was the breakfast, INSANE! The guys working there and serving us were full of passion and love for what they do. Definitely going back!

We stayed at this hotel in Sorrento for four days this time. very satisfied. The hotel is a few years old, but the facilities and decoration are still good. Clean and quiet. The location of the hotel is very good. It is only a few minutes walk from the lively streets of the small town and the seaside ferry terminal. There are many restaurants around. The breakfast at this hotel is very good. The pool and garden at the back are also very nice. The service attitude of the front desk staff is very good!

An old small hotel but clean. Comfortable bed and some bath amenities. Bathroom small and toilet lid and seat not attached. Air conditioned which was a bonus. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching passer-by’s. A very short walk to the beach, patisseries and to the ferry.

Amazing accommodation. Beautiful friendly staff. Great food in restaurant & great breakfast. Rooms big clean & comfortable. Great water pressure in shower. The sea view rooms with balcony are spectacular and extra special at night. Bus stop right outside which takes you all the way down to town centre & then 5 min walk to beach & you take bus back up from same spot dropped you off all for $1.60 euros each way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND & DEFINITELY GOING BACK!!

Hi I was given a room overlooking the commercial port of Salerno despite the room having a partial view of the sea, so a disappointment then the beach service needs to improve a lot they also let people in who are not staying at the hotel so there is more for not to mention the beach staff who do a ****** all day to sell the sunbeds they don't even give time for the customer to get up from the sunbed and sell it to another who arrives. The bar service a cashier and the line in the sun waiting without taking care of the customer I will never go back to this structure

The location is so good, and the facilities are so clean and nice that I think it's the best hotel in the area~^^ The staff was kind and responsive, and they told me they liked Korea, so I felt even closer~ If you walk a little bit in front of the hotel, there's a beach, so it was nice to take a walk while looking at the night view~^^

Great location and stunning view from the room. The personnel at the reception were very welcoming with excellent service during our stay. Shuttle bus service was also great.  Service and approach from waiters at the bar/restaurant was extremely poor during our whole stay so obviously something was wrong at that area of the hotel.

The location is about 5 minutes from the train station. It takes about 8 minutes to get to the city center. Very convenient. The room is large. excellent service. However, the sound insulation equipment is not good. I heard other people walking through the corridor or closing the door next door. I want to sleep a little later. But I heard the sound of cleaning the next room.

Hotel breakfast is good, equivalent to the star hotel level, save the hotel method: from the pier, then take a 1 euro lift, reach the above city (photo 1), then walk 8 minutes through the small square to reach the Grand Plaza (with flags , photo 2), then take the main street (walking path, photo 3), various shops on both sides, you can buy drinks in the fries shop of photo 4, and take a rest on the chair opposite the church door (photo 5) (also Take a drink at the roadside bar), then continue on, go down the slope on the side of the hospital (square), turn left at 50 meters, walk for 7 minutes, reach the road junction where you can drive, then Turn right and walk 100 meters across the road (passing an uphill parking lot) and you are at the hotel.

Very clean and cozy room at a great location that is easy to find. Cleanliness is top-notch even better than some of the international chains. breakfast was a pleasant surprise. it has everything I want for a vacation stay.
