Hotels With Bar in Sarawak, Malaysia

This is probably my 5th or 6th time staying at The Waterfront Hoteland for good reason! It remains my favourite hotel in the city. The view from the room is simply magnificent, whether day or night, and always takes my breath away. I absolutely love the pool area it’s such a relaxing spot to unwind, especially with the scenic backdrop. Another major plus is the hotel’s direct connection to the mall, which makes shopping and dining super convenient without having to leave the building. The room is well-equipped with complete toiletries, which I really appreciate. Everything is kept clean and comfortable, making each stay feel like a mini escape. One small downside: the toilet floor tends to be quite slippery. Although a small toilet mat is provided, it doesn’t quite cover enough area to prevent slipping, so that’s something to be cautious about.

Nice resort by the beach. We stayed here for 1 night after a long journey from KL. Nice breakfast and the mee kolok was so tasty. You should try it. This resort doesn’t have lift so it was difficult for a wheelchaired person to stay other than ground floor. The room was so spacious and we loved it. Thank you to the staff that really helped us during check in. I would like to thanks also to the manager on duty on that day for his kindness to help my mom pushing her wheelchair to the lobby. The location is just nearby to Sarawak Budaya Village. Nice staying here and I would repeat it if I come back to Sarawak.

The best place to stay in Miri. Definitely no doubt about it. The standard room type was clean with a panoramic view, facing the south China Sea. The bathroom showers very good and so powerful. The bed was soft and clean. Except for the pillows. I should have changed to a soft one. However, the morning breakfast was superbly delicious and we enjoy it every moment especially the nasi goreng.

Hotel was opened / renovated not too long ago, still looking fresh and new. Conveniently located near the waterfront area and close to many popular food and coffee places. Staff was friendly, helpful and polite

Checked in at 4pm but the rooms was not ready, thus i got a free upgrade to the next category room. Ocean view room offers a majestic view. The room was clean and spotless and no noise can be heard from outside. Bath tub overlooking the ocean. The only downfall is there is no carpet thus the floor can be cold when u walk barefoot.

I stayed this hotel when I was 15 years old. Now I am 45. I would congratulate the staff of the hotel who really worked hard to main the look, the cleanliness of this hotel. I also would like to thank the front line counter staff for upgrading my room to the River View Room as the room that I've booked was not yet ready (still in the cleaning process).

Short stay at the family suite and king suite, arrived Sunday afternoon and left Monday afternoon, so limited activities. Rooms were clean and tidy, the king suite overlooked the bigger pool and the Coconut Bar. Family suit had convenient access to ”kiddie” pool and beach. Kids had fun at the kids' pool, also had a dip in the bigger pool as well as playing at the beach. Pool is good for a visit in the afternoon as dead bugs in the pool take some time for staff to clean throughout the morning. Did not get a chance to try the wellness centre as it was closed Monday.

There are Few pro and con for this hotel March 2025 Comment:- Pro 1. The view are stunning 2. Pool are warm with pool heater apply. The swimming pool water are clean. 3. The air conditioner are cold enough and the room are well maintained. 4. Mini market inside the hotel and few vending machines. 5. Breakfast are delicious however with selective choice (Buffet style). Con 1. Chinese Restaurant - closed down, Executive Lounge - Closed down, Sky lounge - Closed down. 2. Hot Water - not suificient for long bath, I have to boil water with kettle 4 times to ensure i have a warm bath. After that I need wait 1 hours just have a hot bath. 3. The area far away I need drive 25 minutes before reach to Tabuan Jaya to buy cake and also fast foods. If you want enjoy bath and environment, here is the best place.

Located near the river giving a tremendous view of both city and the serene river. Attractions are walking distances. The hotel staff are friendly & knowledgeable of what’s happening around the hotel.

Loved everything about our stay! It might be quite a distance from the city if you don’t drive a car, but if you do, it’s only less than a 10-min drive. Service was definitely top-notch; from the main entrance to the front desk, including the staff at the Zest restaurant. Breakfast spread was very good and tasty especially the fresh fruit juices! Definitely recommended and will stay here again 😊
